The characters are generally more likable and believable than they were in the original Camp Rock, but the plot could be more engaging: while viewers will certainly root for Mitchie and the camp to succeed, neither Mitchie nor this film's new characters (Chloe Bridges, Matthew "Mdot" Finley) inspire a particularly overwhelming emotional investment. Nonetheless, tweens and teens will love Camp Rock 2--they'll watch it repeatedly, memorize the words with the help of the rock-along special feature, and probably learn a few new dance moves. The absence of the whole "I'm a good singer, but I'm not going to tell anyone and instead cause major issues because I can't speak for myself or be able to be myself and not part of the populars" really helped the movie too Review: Good Movie - I like sequels but this movie is more competitive than the first. Overall it is good though.

Waaayyy better than the first one in my opinion. Demi Lovato seems more herself in this one, and it's reflective in the music. The central conflict is more established and dynamic with multiple sides and views, giving the movie all around a more rounded feel. I like sequels but this movie is more competitive than the first. Overall it is good though.

Good Movie, Awesome Music
Demi Lovato is my favorite female vocalist and I also love the Jonas brothers so this movie is amazing since it combines both! I actually like the songs better on here than on Demi Lovato's solo albums (even though some of those are pretty good). This is a way better movie than the first camp rock. the first camp rock was too cheesy in my opinion (even though the song at the end was really good). if you like demi lovato and the jonas brothers, you probably already have this movie. If you don't have it and like them, then get it!

Good movie for fans of Camp Rock
Fans of Camp Rock, Demi Lovato, or the Jonas Brothers will enjoy this movie. Like the first Camp Rock movie, it contains lots of music, an obstacle to overcome, and a happy ending. It won't keep you on the edge of your seat, but it qualifies as pleasant tween, teen, and family entertainment.

What A Throwback
This movie definitely brought forth some nostalgia. I have no regrets buying the DVD so many years later, especially after watching the extended edition. Definitely a great movie for kids and preteens.

J'avais déjà beaucoup aimé le premier volet mais franchement je trouve que cette suite est encore mieux!! Il est plus drôle, il y a plus de musique et de danse que dans le premier!!! L'histoire est sympathique, j'aime bien parce que ça suit l'histoire du premier sans la copier!!! On retrouve quasiment tous nos personnages préférés du premier opus et on en découvre de nouveaux!!! Ce qui m'a aussi plus dans Camp Rock 2 c'est le fait que les personnages secondaires ont pris de l'importance et sont plus présents dans l'histoire, notamment concernant kevin et nick jonas!! Je trouve qu'on se focalise moins sur Mitchie et Shane pour mettre en avant le groupe!! Concernant la musique je trouve cette bande son plus dynamique!! Il y a plus de morceaux que dans le premier! on retrouve toujours cette diversité de styles! Demi Lovato a toujours cette voix magnifique qui s'accorde parfaitement avec celle de Joe Jonas ce qui donne de très beaux duos!!! Seul bémol : le DVD est soit disant en version longue, mais je me suis apperçue qu'il manque une scène par rapport à la version que j'ai vu sur Disney Channel!! Je suis un peu déçue de ça parce c'est une très jolie scène où Demi Lovato interprète "It's not too late". A part ça je recommande ce film à tous ceux qui ont aimé le premier Camp Rock (vous ne serez pas déçus) ou plus généralement à tous ceux qui aiment les films musicaux!!!

A great dvd!!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves music! If you have seen Camp Rock 1 then you will love this one!!!! Songs are great and make you want to get up and dance!!!! Wanted to watch it over and over again! Love it!!!!

Pese a que en la descripción ponía que el audio también estaba en castellano, el dvd que llegó no lo tenía. Como era para regalo, la persona decidió quedárselo porque le gustaba de todas maneras, pero no me parece adecuado que las descripciones no se ajusten a la realidad.
