The infomercials for U-Glu are completely misleading...no WAY would this product pick up and hold onto steel -- it can't even hold a framed photo on the wall. I gave it a shot with a lightweight one, and it fell right off!It does still have a use, though. U-Glu is great for keeping things where you put them: furniture, area rugs, framed photos on the wall, etc. I've even used it to secure framed photos on my bookcase so they wouldn't fall over when the kids slam the door (works like a charm) and to secure the banister spindles to the floor (the kids had discovered a few weren't tight and twisted them until they spun completely).It removes easily and without making a mess, although it's a little hard to work with. U-Glu is quite sticky and balls up very quickly, and it doesn't flatten back out without an exceptional amount of weight placed on it. It has paper on both sides, so depending on your application, it would be best to peel one side, apply the U-Glu, then remove the other side so it doesn't ball up.So, don't buy it based on what you see in the infomercials, because you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you need to keep things in place after they're properly hanged, placed, etc. this is a great solution.

Have used this glu for so long, just ordered another box which came very quickly. I have used it to keep my crystal ornaments in place in the window bay, on my pictures, with Christmas decorations, you name it. It is a no mess (as long as you take time to cut and apply it correctly), strong, dependable product. I've even used it under my planters which I've placed in an old bird bath. Just be careful when applying it, because if you don't do it properly, you may wind up with a ball of glue...but only when doing very small jobs, as I sometimes do. It's clean, no odor, gets the job done. I don't know how I survived without it for so many years. Love this stuff!

This stuff has glued anything I've used it on: metal, wood, plastic, fabric. In the box you get a roll of the stuff, & several different sizes of rectangles. The glue comes as a sheet between two layers of paper. You peel off one paper, stick it to one of the surfaces, pull off the other paper, & attach the other surface. Better get it right the first time, because this stuff is NOT coming off. The project that I thought would be the biggest challenge? Gluing a piece of suede leather to a metal tube on the motorcycle frame, to keep the saddle bags from rubbing. Several years, many miles, & a few rainstorms later, that piece of suede is still there.

I bought this because I have a new kitty that just loved to sharpen her nails on my new dining room chairs. I actually got the idea from "My Cat From Hell" and thought what the hell, I'll try anything as nothing else seemed to work. It worked great, my kitty didn't like the feel or the smell (although it is not harmful to them) and now leaves my chairs alone. I only wish I had seen this sooner. I hightly recommend for any area you don't want an animal to ruin. I'm sure it probably works good for whatever you are suppose to use it for as well. I comes off easily as well if you want to remove at a later date.

When it has came down to As Seen On TV items, it always doesn't seem to shine as they say they do. It is unfortunate, but honestly that has been the case at times. When I heard about Uglu adhesive, I wasn't honestly sure it was going to deliver, considering the other As Seen On TV items. Unfortunately, I was honestly right about Uglu. While the feeling of it does seem to work for only a little while on sticking items together, and also on those that hold bonds together, like a towel rack to the bathroom wall. A few dyas later, the adhesive really started to wear off, and my towel rack fell down. I wasn't surprised about it. So honestly, I would recommend going after a tighter bond at a much more affordable price, like crazy glue. Because Uglu, wasn't fully worth the money it was said out to be.

I originally bought it to stick a magnetic kitchen utensil/knife holder to the ceramic tile. It would not hold a tooth pick to that. But I started making inexpensive medallion/chip displays for my AA group. It's hard to find a good one that doesn't cost over $50.00 but with the use of my graphic software and good printer I put them on a photo quality print inside an inexpensive frame and for less than 20 bucks you got it. I have one that has no glass and the chips have been on them for over 6 months. If I do need to remove them no problem no damage to the graphic or the finish on the chip. But in finishing it doesn't do all that they claim. My experience with the magic bullet taught me that.

could not find for the longest, this stuff really worksstrong and little work to remove but doesn't damage paint or varnishsurfaces. I have used a lot of places super glue liquid is not rightget some of this product and you will be happyWARNING watch some of the product out of ASIAI understand it is fake, or the cheaper foam typeREAD their reviews. I have bought this product in the past and fell in love with them!!! They work for everything! They are perfect for tacking down carpet in my apartment without damaging the hardwood floors! I hang pictures, white boards, clocks, etc. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I'm not sure why you cant find it in stores anymore, at least I found it online. BEWARE though: I bought the same product but in a different size box with different precut strips at the same time I bought these, and they were totally different!!! They are supposed to be a rubbery glue but these were foam! Not sure what happened because even the picture on the box shows the ones with rubbery glue but that's not what was inside.
