Goal Zero Flip 24 Portable Phone Charger, USB Battery Bank for Travel and Emergency Use - Black

This is my second GoalZero power bank, and it has performed very well for my travel needs. It is light weight for travel, and gives about two phone charges, which has been OK so far. I use a 220 to 110 VAC converter for Europe, which has worked well, but I would avoid trying to recharge this GoalZero unit directly from a 220VAC source. Also, please be aware that you will need a USB female to male adapter to charge iPhones with the GoalZero.

I’ve had two of these and both failed within a year. Goal Zero did replace the first one and I’m working on replacing the second one, but they should last longer than a year??

These work great! They will charge our phones up several times on one charge. Easy to use and well made. We keep one in every vehicle we own so we always have them when we need them.

I love this thing but the charger part flips up and down and it’s breaking off. It still holds a charge and I’ve used it a lot. It worked great for Disney.

Had one of these wonderful devices for a couple of years. Unfortunately, it got lost on an international flight in the bowels of a seat pocket (damn, those 777s!). I couldn't wait to replace it when we got home. It is a brilliant storage device.

I bought the Goal Zero Flip 24 primarily as a compact, fast charging battery bank solution for my iPhone on the go. With its 24Wh (6700mAh) capacity I can get about two full phone recharges, which is more than sufficient for my daily needs. The Flip 24 also supports pass through charging. Which means I can charge my phone from the Flip 24, while the Flip 24 is being recharged. Not all battery banks can do this.With 2.1A (10.5W max) output, I have tested and confirmed that it will charge my iPad or MacBook Air in a pinch. Just a boost though, given its battery capacity.I plan to add a Goal Zero Nomad 5 solar panel to my kit. The Flip 24 snaps on the rear of the Nomad 5 for an integrated solar charging solution, that you can attach to your backpack to recharge via solar on the go. The Flip 24 is for my daily use. The Nomad 5 is for more for my emergency preparedness... example if I get lost on a hike for days/weeks, I'll still have a charged phone, charged flashlight, etc.... just in case.The Flip comes in two other sizes.1) Flip 12 - 1A (5W max) 12 Wh (3350 mAh): Slower charging; Good for 1 phone recharge; Will not charge iPad or MacBook Air.2) Flip 36 - 2.1A (10.5W max) 36Wh (10,050mAh): Fast charging like the Flip 24; Good for 3 phone recharges; The additional capacity will be useful if you need to recharge a tablet.The Flip 12 was not sufficient for my needs. And the Flip 36 was heavier and more capacity than I needed. But you might want to consider these other Flips based on your needs. The Flip 12 and Flip 36 are also compatible with the Nomad 5.Great product. Would buy it again.

Had this thing for over a year and ita going strong. Most other banks ive had failed in a few weeks
