Has the power budget for ip cameras; stable so far
Runs 4 IP cameras (7W) I have.+ 60W power budget (with power loss, 12.75W x 4 is the max I would plug in in going the max cat5 distance)+ All ports are gigabit+ Fanless is very nice and worth it.+ Very small and the power brick isn't that big+ Metal housing- PoE ports are not labeled! 1-4 are PoE but a label would be nice.---------------------Please understand power loss and PoE classes when doing the power budget. What arrives at the device, isn't what is sent. This is not a four port, class 3 PoE switch! It may appear "DOA," drop out, or "die" occasionally as the unit is protecting itself if you overload it. If your device is higher than 13W (including IR lights for IP cameras as those usually are left out) and you want to run four of them, you need a different switch.Class 2: 7W ---> 6.49WClass 3: 15.4W ----> 12.95WClass 4: 30W -----> 25.5 WPower Sourcing Equipment (PSE) ----> Powered Device (PD).----------------------Longevity? I don't know. Ordered two. Neither came DOA and both have been running 4 PoE devices a piece.

Very satisfied from this tiny switch
This is the 4th switch I got of the same brand and been working without an issue. The fact that has PoE on some ports helps a lot with cutting power cords to devices. I connect some AP and IP cameras with these.

Good POE switch for SOHO - does not work for 24V Passive POE devices.
I have had a number of Trendnet units over the years and so far all of them have been good. I knocked off one star for this since it can't handle passive 24V POE, namely used by Ubiquiti Unifi Access Points. It can power the Unifi Cloud Key without any issue.

It provides PoE and is fast enough for my need
It works. I bought this for the PoE (power over Ethernet). I am using an access point that relies on PoE and it works so far. I had trouble deciding whether I want more power or greater multiplexing bandwidth, but I decided to compromise somewhat on power because the AP is the only thing I have that needs PoE. If the third calls for more devices powered using PoE I may then make a purchasing decision at that time.

Plenty of Power
I bought this to power a Ubiquiti CloudKey and a UAP-nanoHD and it handles both flawlessly. Much cheaper than buying a managed POE switch and has enough power and ports for a small setup. All metal housing and a big beefy power supply means this should be solid for years to come. Also, it doesn't have any noisy fans - it just sits quietly on my desk.

Plug it in, wire your router and devices and go
Plug it in, wire your router and devices and go. No fan, which is good as the switch is mounted in the attic, so I don't have to worry about dust causing overheating. Powers my PoE camera's just fine, its plug and play essentially and does everything I need it to, also like the fact that its housed in metal which gives it a quality look and feel. Indicators of POE and gigabit connections all work and are useful to gauge if the connections are correct/working properly.

So far they both seem to be working great. Once I have everything working
I am still running this through the paces with the camera I bought. So far they both seem to be working great. Once I have everything working, I will move it to its permanent location. It will give me three more ports that I can put another three cameras out back when we start the alpaca farm. For now, this allows me to monitor the front for deliveries while I work in the basement.

Nice little PoE switch - but could be better
Not a bad little PoE+ switch. Limited to 60 watts total across all 4 PoE ports (30 watts per PoE port max). Would like to see a better wattage reserve if future releases. I find it amazing that there is not a great solution to power 1 to 4 802.3AT AP's without a bigger switch or a bunch of individual PoE injectors. I'm starting to look at the multiport PoE injector kits that site in front of your switch. Kind of a good idea and allows one to keep their existing GB switches......

Working well for POE
Working well so far to power TP EAP 245 access point. Will be connecting POE camera soon. No noticeable noise so far, but not using much power.

Works well
So far this switch is working good for me. Have 3 cable boxes, an internet modem & wifi access point running through it & I have had no issues.
