Great product
Loved that it is a bear brand product for my bear recurve bow. Arrows fly nice and straight and it has also made it a lot more quiet🤫 great arrow set I'll be buying the same one when I need another👍

Great rest.
This rest looks good and works great. It does start to wear after a lot of shots though. I’ve put over 500 shots through it and still performs well.

It makes it a lot more like shooting with your finger off the shelf
(This is from a Beginner to other Beginners) I was torn and I was gonna give a 3 but it's a simple tried and true idea. It makes it a lot more like shooting with your finger off the shelf..Not really but it does force you to practice rather than relying on too many gadgets at first before you even Because the rubber is flimsy and wants bend and drop your arrow. It's forces you to focus on form and not pull your bicep and get shaky. You really have to hold your form and focus on using your back muscles. I have a 50 # 62 inch Recurve with 30 inch arrows it can be hard at first. I shoot from about 15 to 17 feet away and for practice they are cheap and perfect. You will be tempted to buy something more sturdy but stiffer metal or hard plastic rest will tear up your vane over time. To acquire what you need just to get started It costs a pretty penny. You a finger tab or your fingers are dead. The AAE/ Cavalier Elite with SL is a top notch choice. You will be tempted to but a glove but they lack true protection. The tab is pricey but you will never need another one just fibracate old leather or get new leather flaps. You need an armguard don't ruin archery for yourself and bruise your arm too. You need arrows strong enough and long enough for your pull and a target that can take a hit. The little sack of hay looking one. Dick's has them for pretty cheap.Don't worry about broadheads, or any new fancy heads, a stabilizer, a laser, sights {useless for the moment), or scope, or the stringer silencer. I would spend the 12-20 bucks on a new 12 string Flemish Bow string. There are some awesome custom string makers out there.

The easiest to install and perhaps the best rest for a non-target recurve
Bear came out with this rest in, I believe, the 1960s, and it may still be the best elevated rest for a hunting or field recurve bow. You can spend a lot more for a magnetic or spring rest, but it won’t be as rugged or reliable, and it probably won’t be significantly more accurate, either. With no moving parts to fail, Weatherests tend to last years, and they’re cheap enough to carry a spare or two in your pack for emergency replacement.

Just like the ones I used as a kid! Still work GREAT!
Easy 'ol arrow rest. No muss, no fuss. Sticks like glue, is NO maintenance, never fails to hold the arrow steady, and super low-tech. Easy on the eye and the wallet, functional, and sturdy. Just like the ones I used as a kid! Still work GREAT! I've shot hundreds of arrows off of this rest since purchasing, and many thousands of arrows of of ones like it over the years. Simple and functional. 'Nuff said.

Superlative arrow rest
Replaced the stock arrow rest on my new bow with this bad boy. Arrows fly true.

Check your bow's shelf first
Durable, quiet, flexible BUT be aware. I noticed my arrows were flying to the left and after looking closer, noticed it was due to the rest. Look at the pic and you will see a vertical rib which deflects the arrow left of, in my case, the string centerline. Even though the boys says the rest is cut past center. Note the rest functions admirably, it's design just required I cut off the vertical rib to bring arrows back on center. I'm going back to carpet and leather

Solid, inexpensive rest
I have one of these on both of my trad bows, one recurve and one longbow. They have both seen hundreds of shots and only show a bit of wear. It can be a little tricky to get mounted level, but the adhesive is forgiving for a second attempt if you're careful. I really like these rests and don't plan on trying any others anytime soon. I can easily afford to have a couple of spares in my gear bag should I lose or have to replace one, which I have yet to.

Good arrow rest
Bought this to get my order over 25$, and I'm glad I did. After a couple months of shooting off the shelf this is definitely an improvement. It's quiet, I don't have to hold the arrow on with my finger, and the arrow leaves straight. It's not making me a better archer, but it's helping me improve my consistency. After a few nights of shooting you can see the wear on it, but it's far from getting worn out yet, and the adhesive is holding well.
