Mesh networks utilize zero-configuration auto-linking wireless routers that each act as an access point, gateway and repeater. With only one router physically connected to the Internet, a mesh network is ideally suited for hotels, apartment complexes or shopping malls. The high-speed OM2P router allows both public and private SSIDs and includes a watchdog chip that automatically initiates reboots should it lock up. Using 802.11n (1x1) for data transmission speeds up to 150Mbps, the OM2P is an access point, mesh gateway and repeater all in one tiny reliable package.
