Comfortable
I actually bought these for my husband but the width was not wide it was narrow for his feet, so I tried these shoes for myself since my sneaks were not supportive enough for work. I love the comfort these boots shoe give to my feet and overall body. I suffer with back problems and being on my feet for a certain period of time leaves me almost incapacitated to where I’m dragging myself to keep going forward to perform my job. I wear these boots shoe when I know I am going to be on my feet for longer than expected and can move for hours without any issues with my feet, legs and body movements. Very supportive and true to fit. I took a chance on ordering the boots shoe for my husband even though I knew he was a wide fit but that’s ok I took them for myself and you can’t even tell they are mens boots shoe, I think these can be for either gender, but that’s my opinion you judge for yourself. But I personally recommend these to anyone who is steadily on their feet, your feet and body will than you!

Excellent!
I purchased these shoes because I was so impressed with my recent Columbia hiking boot purchase. And even though I don't plan on using these for hiking, I wanted something for everyday use that was rugged, waterproof and had the feel of a good hiking shoe, not a fashion sneaker. These Columbia shoes are simply excellent. Great materials and construction quality with the rugged look and feel of a good hiking shoe that is also at home around the house or in the office. These shoes are true to size and fit me perfectly (Size 12). And I wanted a trusted name in the sportswear market, not some no name company with questionable quality. Well Done Columbia! Highly recommended.

So far, so good!
Too soon after purchasing before I can giving a complete review. But so far:- I am very pleased with the fit and feel thus far.- Comparing it to other shoes I've worn, the arch support feels right in the middle. Not extreme, but not flat, like traditional New Balances.- I like the overall all look and construction. I didn't want mesh due to seeing many reviews of other trail/hiking shoes mentioning the mesh coming away from the front toe. I wanted something tougher for inclement weather and cooler temps. Have yet to truly test them on this and will update once I do!- They have great grip without deep treads- Only 2 negatives that might stop once I've worn them more: Laces are nice, but come untied. Back of the shoe, above the heel feels a little weird, where you notice the padding is there. Again, I think it's just the style and after some wear will not be an issue.I rarely order shoes online, but seeing as how I've had a pair of Columbia hiking boots for many years and they just the end of last year blew out (the air cushion is shot in the left one and they sweek!, I thought it couldn't hurt to try. So far, I'm glad I did and can see why people who gave them 5 stars did so.

Fit narrow feet
I'm a guy with 11AA feet. These shoes in size 11 fit perfect. Its rare to find shoes that fit so well. Very well made with aggressive lugged soles . One downside is the soles do not do not shed road salt and grit very well. They tracked those materials into the house after my first walk with them. Wife was not happy with me. Lots of footprints to clean up. I had to use a brush and running water to clean them.

Waterproof shoes comfortable enough to wear everyday.
UPDATE :After a few months, I drastically changed my view on these shoes. For the first few months they did well, but after a couple of months, they are no longer waterproof and let water in even when walking on wet grass which is ridiculous. There is no damage to the shoes, so it's something innate to the material used.Would NOT recommend for somebody looking for waterproof shoes.===Original Review===Was looking for a pair of comfortable waterproof shoes that are not as high as waterproof boots and would be comfortable enough to wear for long walks with the dog. So far, I have worn these for a couple of weeks and have tested them out in the rain and on extremely wet soil/grass, and my feet have stayed absolutely dry. Your feet also don't get tired in these and they are actually comfortable enough to wear as an everyday shoe. Quality seems to be good, they are really warm and offer good toe protection. The fit was actually a little too big. I normally wear 10.5, and I considered ordering a size 11 because another review mentioned that they are smaller than most 10.5 shoes. I found the opposite to be true, maybe Columbia changed the size, but these 10.5 are actually just a bit bigger than I am used to. If you wear 10.5, I would suggest getting a size 10, unless you plan to wear them with thick socks.Overall, happy with my purchase. I can't vouch how long they will last, but so far they seem to absolutely be worth the money.

Took a while to break these in. He didn’t like them at first.
Be patient and keep wearing them. They are stiff at first but eventually became more comfortable.

Perfect hiking shoes
Best pair of walking shoes ever owned.Numerous 10k walks across Dartmoor in great comfort. Good grip, warm dry feet, easy to clean and quick drying due to the material.Few comments on here re laces loosing up. No issues for me, besides you wouldn't want these to be super tight anyway.

Very comfortable and pretty lightweight waterproof shoes
Very comfortable and pretty lightweight shoes and of course waterproof (i did not try it in heavy rain yet, still just light rain). For my feet it does not feel tight in any part of shoes at all, it is comfortable wide for me. Shoe sole it quite low that is what i really like, i feel more stable without high shoe sole. I had Merrell Moab FST and i did not like it as shoe sole was high and heavier ,these Columbia shoes are way better. The only con is it gets warm inside so i think for summer or hot weather it would not be so comfortable but in autumn, winter and spring it is fine (UK) but note that i am kind of person who can handle colder temperature better than others so other people would not probable feel warmer with these shoes like me, except this little temperature thing i would give it 5 STARS. Design is pretty nice as well. That is initial experience, just 1 week old shoes. Great value for the price, i hope it last long as some people wrote in reviews !!!! My rating 4,5 STARS !!!!

Hacia el Camino de Santiago
The media could not be loaded.
