Ultimate Support PRO-ST-T Weighted Base Mic Stand with Telescoping Boom

This thing is awesome. I wish they would continue making it but I think it’s been discontinued.

It's a great stand, but much heavier than I thought it would be, which is an issue when it comes to loading and transporting all my gear. Also, the base tubing doesn't come with a mic clip and won't accommodate a conventional-sized mic clip. That aside, it is a solidly constructed piece of equipment that should last a long time through my rigorous road schedule.

Not Good. I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. The box was beaten up and re-taped upon arrival. When he opened the box there was no packing material inside and the unit appeared to be used. He said it would be okay until he went to use it. He assembled it and put his Mic in the boom and tightened the thumbscrew. He began to use it and the boom rod spun around the mic went upside down and fell out on the floor and dented the mesh on his good mic. He exclaimed "now I understand why it looks used. I has been returned before because it is no good. The boom rod will not lock in place no matter how hard you try to tighten the thumbscrew." I will be returning this unit also.

Bought this for the small footprint in my home project sound booth. Fits great and arms are very sturdy. Much better than any other stands I've owned. Worth the slightly extra money if you need reliable support for your high end mics. Also can support a good amount of weight because of the heavy base.
