She is hardy to zone 6 where most other colocasias are hardy to zone 7b or 8. This means less work for you in the fall as winter approaches. She has a shocking pink stem with dusty green leaves. The pinkish purple hues are also found on the under sides of the leaves. She is a statuesque 6 to 8 feet. Like most Colocasia, Pink China likes high filtered sunlight but will also do quite well in heavy shade, she just will not be quite as large in this much shade. Need a bog / water plant? She is happy to live with wet feet or moist soil. This lady is a fast grower. You can expect her to reach her full height by the end of the first summer. Her clump will become larger each year.
