You get what you pay for
I did a lot of research for a good headset stand because I wanted one that could also charge my phone wirelessly to reduce my desk clutter. After debating between many Amazon no-name brands, Corsair, and Razer for the best stand, I went with this one and I have not regretted it at all. I use the built-in DAC with my Sennheiser GSP 600 and at first, my microphone output was low, but after updating the firmware on it, everything sounds perfect both with my audio and my microphone. The wireless charging isn't perfect as my phone sometimes needs to be centered on the pad perfectly, and it occasionally flashes the LED lights while it's charging, but nothing worth taking off a star over. The lighting looks amazing and the build quality is top notch. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it

So much more than just a headset stand
Wireless charging, usb ports, and aux input make this device a pretty useful device. There is no denying that you are buying for a ROG tax on this product. As long as you can pay the price and are investing into the eco-system it does feel worth it. I would just make sure that you plug the usb cable into a 3.0 capable port on your motherboard so you can take advantage of the dual usb-a port on the stand. You can also use the rgb and aux input without connecting the power plug for the wireless charging on this device so in case you don't want use, you can do that as well. This pairs well with wireless charging devices. Since the power plug is connect directly to power you can use the charger while your computer is off.The only gripe I have with the headset is that the center piece of acrylic is very easy to scratch. Cleaning it is a pain and since it is acrylic you have to be gentle with it or you will ruin it.

Another great add for my ROG setup
A bit pricey maybe, but for me, well worth the price. I built my PC from the ground up using predominantly ROG components. Every part of my machine glows in rainbow RGB hues, bright as daylight in the darkness, and this fancy looking headphone stand adds one more piece for the light show. The QI charger pad is quite large and works well with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10, replacing the $50 charge pad I had before while adding some style and 2 extra USB ports to my desk. This is definitely something of a luxury item, but I am very happy with how it looks as part of my rig.

What it gets right and what it gets wrong...
I bought this headset stand for a couple of reasons. A.) RGB devices are cool, B.) I could pair it with my ROG Zephyrus G15 laptop using AURA Sync, C.) It has a wireless charger base for my smartphone (or any other wireless charging devices) to eliminate the need for an extra cable laying around loosely (because cats are evil) on the desk, D.) It has 2 USB 3.1 ports and E.) It has the DAC.Now imagine my surprise and picture my stunned face as I was completely baffled by ASUS' decision to use a micro-b connection (not to be confused with Micro-USB) on the back of the device. Of ALL the technological devices I own and have EVER owned for that matter have been a "normal" (USB A type A male, micro USB or USB-C) connector and easily cross compatible with basically any USB port. But NO...... Not this device, it has to be special. Now I know this isn't the end of the world, but c'mon! I was going for less cables, not swapping a phone cable for a micro-b cable. Now, also imagine my surprise that when you sync the colors and disconnect the cord it turns off the colors. Unlike my ROG Radius ii Wireless mouse. While cool in aesthetics, it's functionality leaves a little to be desired. Luckily I found a micro-b male to usb-a female adapter and that bluetooth dongles exist (to the tune of $25, [thanks Amazon]).The DAC is great and sound quality is awesome. The Qi wireless charger should have supported a 15 W capacity (being as that some phones require more but most don't need anything beyond 15 W), but 10 W still works just fine. I sense a version 2.0 on the horizon for the holiday season.Things that would make this device better, BLUETOOTH connectivity.Overall, however I am still happy with the purchase. It is still cool, despite it's flaw. Hopefully my solution will work, stay tuned.
