Great replacement
Works great as advertised and was well packaged. Installation was easy in my case, even installed it in the water. There are lots of installation videos out there so you can DIY!Apart from that the light is very bright and has wide beam pattern which fills our roughly 20’x40’ pool with light.

Be ready to pull wires
Easy to install after watching some videos. Pulling the wire through was a bit of a pain but the product worked flawlessly. Would suggest having some wire lube on hand to help with pulling wire through.

250 watt Spa Lights
Replaced two non functioning 250 watt spa light with two of the same 250 watt Spa lights. The new ones work great and were easy to install. The two I replaced were about 5 year old and I had replaced bulbs in them twice. Some of the hardware was corroding and the bulbs burn't so I decided to replace them. I hope to report again in five years and from what I understand from friends that is about the life of the lights. I would have loved to put in LEDs but the "Professional" pool company that installed our pool only put the two spa lights in the pool which leave some of the pool in darkness so I did not think the led's would work. I just wish Pentair was concerned about the customer who is buying and paying for their product and offer a real warranty like everyone else. But I guess that is why sometimes good companies fail, not caring about their real customer.

Sucky product and support
Sucky product and even worse customer support. We installed this light used it twice and now it does not work. Contacted their support multiple times and they need everything short of my birth certificate befor they do the right thing.

Pentair Pool Lights.
I recently bought an Pentair in ground pool light, ( model 77360300) 250 watt, 120 vac with a 100 ft. cord. I installed it myself. Only needed 20 foot of cord, got it in place and threw the switch. Nothing happened ! So I checked the voltage at the J-box, 120 vac. Ground was good, then I removed everything to take it apart to check the bulb. Sure enough the bulb filament was separated. "No good".... Had to go to local supply store to get a bulb thank you very much ! For the price of this light fixture, ($ 277.00) I expect it to be in good working order. Just another example why I hate ordering goods online.

Easy Install
Product showed up on time and was a very easy install. The only issue I have is with the warranty. Pentair does not honor the warranty on this product if not installed by a professional pool company. The lowest quote that I got was going to be an extra $200 per light and I have 2. I installed both lights with the help of my 14 year old daughter in 45 minutes. Its not rocket science by any means. Really would have liked to go with the LED by they were just too expensive. Also i would really like to get some colored lenses but have not been able to find any for this size light. Just something to tone down the light so as not to draw every mosquito in a 10 mile radius.

Great value for replacement light
This item is an incredible bargain. I had this light in my pool for 12 years prior to the cord shorting out and taking out bulb after bulb. I went to the leading pool supply store and they were charging close to $300. Installed the light myself. Very easy, very happy.

Necessary after 18 years as the socket is not repairable
Excellent exact replacement for my original Pentair light which was 18 years old and had its base center contact corroded away due to minor leakage & heat over years of bulb replacements. I bought the used version which looked 100% new, just slightly crushed packing.I strongly recommend ordering a longer cable if you don't know the exact length. I estimated that I needed about 50 feet, ordered the 100-foot version for $5 more and wound up pulling about 65 feet. A 50-foot version would have been a disaster!
