High quality and thoughtfully designed
This triple bunk bed is legit, I am happy to say. Here are the key takeaways:1) The materials are quality. It looks just as advertised the wood is solid, and it's a pretty elegant design2) This sucker is solid. There's enough hardware in this bad boy to keep this in tact for many years to come. I have zero concerns about it falling apart or breaking under the strain of twin 5 year olds (and their 3 year old brother's) antics. The weight limit says 165 lbs, but I'm pretty confident my 200 lb self could climb up there without incident (although, I haven't tested it, and not sure I will).3) I put it together by myself, and it took 4 to 5 hours. That's not nothing, but it was one of the most thoughtfully organized, clear sets of instructions I've had the pleasure to encounter. There weren't any "oops" moments where you find yourself unscrewing sections because the instructions were vague. The diagrams and written instructions were perfectly clear and it went together easily. If you have an extra set of hands available, I highly recommend it--this is really more of a two person job, but I was able to assemble it solo with a little bit of ingenuity.4) Safety. My kids haven't had any issues with the ladders (twin 5 year olds boy/girl). I guided them through the initial trial runs going up and down the ladders, and they got the hang of it quickly. I assembled the bed 5 nights ago, and last night each twin came to sleep in my bed around 3am and 4am--I note that to say that they made it safely down the ladders in the middle of the night, half asleep. The base on this is really wide, so it's not going to tip over--I don't think I could pull it over, let alone little kids. It's also pretty tall, so they don't have room to stand up on the top bunk, so you don't have to worry about jumping around and that sort of horseplay.5) The kids love it. Like, it's a huge hit. I am the world's greatest father, and all is well in the world. There are also hours of play that happen in their bedroom now as a result of this bunk bed, so mom and I can catch our breath here and there while the kids play. The only things to consider that aren't all sunshine and rainbows is that this is a tall bed.1) I'm 6'1" and I can't really reach my kids at bedtime. I have to slide the movable ladder over and climb up a couple of steps to tuck my kids in.2) The other thing is that it's hard to change the sheets. If you're less that 165 lbs, you can just climb up and make the bed. I have to pull the mattress down, put on the fitted sheet, and put the mattress back up. Not a big deal, but something to consider--at least as you consider what twin mattress to purchase--I love the ones I got, but they're a bit on the heavy side.Final thing that dawned on me. I read a LOT of the comments and questions from folks on this product before purchasing, and I seem to recall there was confusion about what kind of mattress to get (i.e. foam mattress vs. coil spring mattress. I have no idea why it makes a difference. I got the kids gel memory foam mattresses, and they're great--no issues. All in all, I'm super happy with the purchase and so are the kids. If that changes, I'll update the recommendation.

Has a big footprint
I ordered this bed set for my twin grandsons. I figured the loft beds would avoid any fights over who got the top bunk (my 3rd and younger grandson gets the bottom bed). I ordered the metal version, but received the wood version, which was fine with me (the wood version was more expensive, but I was only charged the metal version price). The assembly was a bit time-consuming (lots of parts, and some of the screw placements are a bit awkward to work with), but everything fit, and no parts were missing. The only problem was that the bed was 3" too long for our room (shared with their dad). The solution was to downsize my son from a queen mattress to a full mattress, and then it fit fine. We decided to put 3/8" plywood on the slats to form platforms for the mattresses, because the slats don't reach close enough to the ends of the frames to prevent the mattresses from sagging at their head or foot. The slats are sturdy enough to support the weight of the mattresses otherwise. Those were the only issues we had. Otherwise, we are very happy with the beds. The wood is good quality and nicely stained and finished, and the beds are sturdy and attractive. Notice in the photo that one ladder is completely vertical, and the other stands away from the bed at a slant. The slanted ladder seems to be easier for my grandsons, age 6, to climb, though they both use both ladders. The boys are still small enough that they can sit up on the bed without hitting their heads against the ceiling, but that will change as they grow. There is plenty of room under the beds for shelving along the wall and a kid-size table and chairs, so they have made a lot of floor space available, which is nice. If you have the floor space to fit the beds (be sure to measure your space, you need 120" on the long side), I think you would be very pleased with them. My boys are delighted with them.

Great bunk bed set!
We mostly love this triple bunk bed. I love the look of it and the L-Shaped design. This was an affordable option for our 4 kids (we put a toddler bed under the loft). The only thing we didn't like about it so far was assembling it. It took 2 nights to assemble and required 2 people. While it was generally simple, there were issues with some of the hardware. A couple of the bolts would not go in. It was like they were stripped despite never being used. After about 45 minutes we were able to get it into the hole. I dread this issue should we take it apart and reassemble at a different home. The only other issue we have with this product is that the wood is very soft. The paint cracked after screwing in the bolt and it gets scratched easily when toys hit it. Overall it's a great bed for a house with multiple kids in 1 room!

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!
i spent hours for days looking for the perfect bunk beds for my kids, and with this price i was pretty skeptical even with all the great reviews. however, when it went a sale, we decided to bite the bullet and give it a chance. i am SO GLAD we did! this bunk bed is awesome! i’m 5’2 and 115lb and i climb up there every night with my kids to lay with them to sleep without any issues at all! i also make their bed every morning. it is so easy to go up and down the ladders, and it’s definitely sturdy enough to hold both my children and myself up there all at once. the quality is great, the shipping was faster than expected, and it’s gorgeous! i highly recommend this purchase! the extra storage underneath the one bunk is such an awesome bonus! we have made it into a fort/hangout area for our kids. highly recommend!UPDATE: the unit was a little tall for us, so we cut each leg and the one ladder down 5inches. it cut beautifully and is holding up great!
