An upgrade from starter kits. Easier to disassemble for cleaning.
Good roller, love the removable spindle makes cleanup much easier. I like the feel of this softer rubber brayer compared to the standard hard black rubber ones that come in many starter kits

Works Well, Smells Weird!
This Speedball 4-Inch Pop-In Brayer, Soft Rubber does its job well, and is the perfect size for using with my mixed media paintings. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the smell! I've had it for two days now and ... I don't think I could describe the smell if I tried. Very strange, and yuck! It has lessened a bit, and I expect it to go away eventually. It is a good product outside of the stank. I'll try to remember to update this review in a few weeks or so.

Buy it, you need it
Got into Lino cutting and bought an “everything included” kit and once I made the first print I knew something was up, it was the roller they supplied. I bought this one and it’s exactly what the issue was and now ALL of my prints are even and solid. I’ll be purchasing another one and never any other brand honestly. Totally worth it.

Higher quality is worth it
I bought this higher quality brayer after buying cheaper ones. It's worth it, the brayer is easy to clean and it keeps rolling smoothly while I'm using it. I use it with acrylic paint on gel plates.

Dieser Roller ist für Gelplate-Kunst das absolute Ultra! So können die feinsten Farbübergänge sehr dünn und transparent ausgerollt werden. Sie ist auch sehr gut zu reinigen. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass es etwas so viel besseres gibt als diese „normalen“ schwarzen Rollen. Schade, dass Amazon keine weiteren Grössen im Angebot hat.

Perfect for using with my Gelli Plate. Paint cleans of it well and I really like the way the roller can be unclipped from the handle to get it fully clean.
