Deco Brothers Wall Mount Extendable Mirror, 8 Inch Double Sided with 7X Magnification, Nickel

10X is too much and 5X is too little. 7x is perfect level of magnification (for my eyesight!). This is a great mirror for the price. Easy to install and folds flat against my full-sized mirror. This is a perfect addition to my bathroom. Love the brushed nickel finish and quality construction.

Arrived promptly - Price was right - Quality item - very pleased overall:I spent a good deal of time looking for something like this, mostly online, but also a few box stores. I found one for a lot more money with a "chrome" finish which appeared to be the "chrome over plastic" often used in auto interiors - not built to last. After much consideration I purchased it on Amazon marketplace. It came in a matter of days, and by Priority Mail which made it happen, no doubt. I was OK with the price when I bought it, but more than OK when I received it, and it was a lot less than some. What impressed me was the quality and I don't impress easily - and seldom write reviews. Pleasantly surprised might be a better choice of words. I was careful not to buy junk, but considering the price it was WAY better than I expected. I purchased the nickel finish. It has a good look. The movement is tight and appears to be made to stay that way. The mirrors are excellent, but be sure you know what you are looking for in magnification. I chose the 7x magnification, thinking it was mid-range. Maybe it is what I was looking at, but I was seeing far more than I wanted. me. I am not sorry I went with 7x, but 5x might be a consideration for some. If I ever need to find a spec of dirt on my eyeball I know where to start!

I did HOURS of research, looking in stores, on Amazon and other websites before I purchased this mirror. I wanted a longer swing-arm so that I could mount at the outer edge of the adjacent cabinet at eye level, in order to use the non-magnified side for "rearview" hair drying and styling. This works well for the purpose, without being so long that it would be too heavy and unbalanced for the mounting hardware to support. I mounted it using longer screws with toggle bolts/butterfly anchors inside the cabinet. It is very secure mounted this way. The mirror is sturdy and looks good, but unobtrusive, pushed back against the cabinet when not in use. I do wish it had been available in a chrome finish to match my retro bath fixtures, but this looks fine and seems to be of a higher quality than many others available. The magnification is ideal for makeup.

This product was easy to install as far as hanging items on the wall. It does require the use of wall anchors, which means you have to pre-drill holes, insert the anchor and then screwing it into place. I would highly recommend anyone who purchases this to use the anchors, otherwise you will risk pulling it out of the wall (we have sheet rock). The mirror looks nice and serves my purpose, which is to see the back of my hair for ease of styling rather than make up. I like that it has the long arm and that I can rotate the mirror to wherever I need it. I have only had this for a day, so I cannot speak to the durability of the product. So far it seems to be made of good quality.

I was pleasantly surprised. Well made, nice finish, couldn't really ask for more. We were in the middle of a bathroom remodel (shower down to stud walls) and went to the extra effort to add a board so the mirror was firmly attached. When extended, there is some weight on the anchor point. By mounting in the stud we OCD'ers were satisfied all would be OK. Sure the appropriate drywall anchor will work. Love the convenience and it's at the right height. New vanities are higher and wider, so I don't have to stand on tippy toes and lean way in to get a close up in the mirror. Just pull this puppy out and you are good to go.

Good mirror, nice quality. It's stylish and even has screw covers. It looks great on the wall. Such easy access too! It's been working well just as previous reviewers had described, that is why I got this one. These kind of mirrors can be so pricey. This one was in my range. I love using it because one side is 1x, so I don't need my glasses to do make-up. The other is 7x for when you need to get a look real close-up for those perfectly placed eye liners or lip liners, etc. You get the idea.There does seem to be a slight blur on the 7x when you look at a certain distance. I don't find it to be a real problem. I just move it in or out a small bit as needed.I recommend this mirror because of the quality received for the price.

This mirror was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered one that was 10x magnification but, returned it was too strong. This one with 7x is perfect! I love it!

The purchase of this DecoBros 9.8-Inch Two-Sided Swivel Wall Mount Mirror was not my first purchase. Origionally, I had just gone out to Lowe's and picked one up (they only carried one brand, and I don't recall which brand). I ended up returning that mirror the very next day, because the hardware it came with was junk, and it wouldn't tighten all the way up to the wall. It turned out that no one else in town had one; so I just decided to see what I could find on Amazon...I'm so glad that I did. It was everything my wife had wanted: with 7x Magnification, 13.5-Inch Extension, and a Nickel color that matched our other bathroom decor and fixtures. The hardware it comes with is WAY better than the ones from Lowe's, and it took just a few minutes to install. The best part about this experience is that the Deco Bros mirror was $10 cheaper than the first one I bought.If your wife has been asking you to get her one of these for weeks (like mine was), this is a great solution! She uses it all the time, and loves it.
