soft and smooth
I got them to make painted rocks for the kids at school. It's a project that goes on every year. Some kids can't afford alot so this is a fun project for me to do. I have a ton of ideas on Pinterest. The size is good for design. But I always use bigger ones for words. I try to pick stones up from the lakefront because you can find some really nice thin ones. Those are good for putting on canvas or driftwood. But these stones work best for kids to hold and play with.

The order comes on time
Rocks are the perfect size for my rock garden. Like the flatness of them. Can't wait to paint them and put them in the garden.

One Rock Arrived broken in half. Others were fine.
The sizes and variety were great, just disappointed one rock arrived broken. Since I needed these for a craft event this week, I couldn't spend the time to return the item complete.

PANGAEA BY AMAZON
Rocks small enough to paint large enough to hurt if dropped on a foot. I ordered these to paint on however they were huge or very small. Not at all as advertized. The rocks were bouncing around in the box freely. Why? Because Amazon didn't attempt in any way shape of form to protect the items inside an overly large box. Notice in the pictures the chips dents and cracks. All done in transit . NO PROTECTIVE PACKAGING! 5 of the rocks are to large or to busted up to use. There was a regular sized bags the rock might have been in but it was as if PANGAEA was breaking into continental drift mode and couldn't wait to get away from each other. Not what is advertised
Advertised as 7 flat rocks for crafting. 2 -3 flat rocks only in each bag. All others are round. Not impressed
