Smooth and Lively
These are excellent strings. Smooth winds and a lively sound. Works quite well for playing my archtop acoustically. Will buy again and again.

Good strings for a epiphone broadway.
if you own a epiphone broadway, these are the perfect strings for that guitar. 13 guage wound round. I tried the 13 flats didn't like. update on these strings. this is my third pack using these strings, for some reason the g string fall apart to point of cutting your finger. other than that these are good strings. I replace the g string for a plain 19 guage which to me sound better with more sustain. I think the company should fix that problem . these strings are expensive.

A very mell
These strings are a bit more money but well worth it. Very nice on my archtops. Btw; the string ends at the tuner side are well made so as to make winding a breeze! Highly recommend!

Tune before cutting!
Installed these for the first time, and the A string fell apart. I did not know this before, but you must put a sharp bend before cutting a round core string or it will fall apart. I bought a 2nd set and tuned these up without cutting and these sound much better. Some round core vendors put a warning about this but I did not see anything on this package.

Great Jazz guitar strings
I have used these for years on archtops playing mostly in big bands. Great jazz tones and last a long time. You get what you pay for and more!

Best jazz guitar strings round-wound
Definitely the best set of round wound strings for jazz guitar. Balanced , with the right amount of brightness . Every string and note is very distinct. No mudness , as it happens with flat wound strings. Excellent for fusion, jazz and basically anything, I have it on my Gibson ES 335 and lately also on my Stratocaster. Way better than any strings I ever used. By the way in the Amazon description there is an error. They describe this strings as “accordion accessory” . Totally wrong! Thomastic-Infeld is a string manufacturer from 1600, in Austria. They are , with Pirastro the most famous and high quality strings manufacturer in the world. They are specialized on strings for orchestra (violin, viola, cello, bass) and jazz .

The best strings made by man
These are the best strings made by man. They stay in tune and they stay in tone forever. Im not sure you ever need to change them. I have these on my Ed Bickert Telecaster and they sound amazing. They also handle open tunings and drop tunings like a charm and barely change tension while doing it. I dont know how they make these things so good, they must have string faeries in the factory imbuing these strings with magic. I like the Swing set too. This set has a plain g string where the Swing set has a wound g string. I like both.

Best Strings I have ever used!
All of this is subjective of course BUT.... By far THE Best strings I have ever used (and been thru them all over my 40+ years of playing!!) Feel great, not stiff. Almost feels like you're playing nylon strings. Not as warm as flatwounds. I also tried Tomastik flats ( didnt care for them) The roundwounds are warm enough for my jazz playing and a little punchier if you transition to blues & funk Yes, more expensive, but last longer than others I have used. Try em!
