🌿 Harness the wind, power your future—effortlessly and efficiently!
The Pikasola 400W Wind Turbine Generator features a horizontal shaft design with 3 aerodynamic nylon carbon fiber blades, starting power generation at a low wind speed of 2.5m/s. Equipped with a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor and an intelligent MPPT microprocessor, it ensures efficient, stable, and safe energy output. Its yaw adjustment system automatically aligns with wind direction, maximizing energy capture, making it an ideal, durable, and eco-friendly solution for home wind-solar hybrid systems.

Great It Charges My Battery!
The media could not be loaded. I first purchased the Pikasola Red lantern 200W wind turbine design in Nov. but I could not it to charge my test battery. Pikasola refunded and suggested I go with the 3-blade propeller design instead rated at 400W. This one works well and my test battery is finally charging! As shown in the video it takes higher wind speed to start and does not look as COOL as the Red-lantern but at least it's charging my battery which is GREAT! As we enter the winter months with high winds I will see how it performs.

Doesn't produce wattage as it should
I have this paired with the pikasola 1400 watt MPPT controller which gives me real time data, the data I receive is about 1 watt for every 10mph of wind, I have never seen this go above 4 watts of produced energy in a strong wind storm.

Customer service
Product seems well built. Had problem with blades. Emailed customer service and they agreed to ship me new blades no charge.Have had only winds up to 20mph so far. Unit handle it well.Overall pleased.

Great so far, definitely recommend
Bought this for our trailer. Wanted to be able to generate some power while off grid and in snowy and overcast weather scenarios.Set it up and tested it for a while at home. It is a nice and large turbine and it doesn’t take much wind to get it spinning. Got some gusts of 35-40 mph on the days I was testing and it handled it really well. Started generating as soon as it started turning, watched it with a multimeter to confirm.

Not worth it …
Hopes were high, but the system set up isn’t easy, and the payback period for this is nearly 20 yrsIn perfect conditions.

Works good even with low wind
Order came with a part that didn’t quite fit but they sent me a replacement part really quick. Works great, thanks!

do your homework
Update to the front!!! The shaft inside the turbine bent due to wind. NOT beyond its rated abilities. Maybe 60 or 70 mph gusts destroyed it.Original review: The product information is pretty good... not misleading. I bought a meter and shunt to go with it... glad I did, as I know power production at any moment and cumulative. Start speed noted seems to mean blade start speed not power production. Around 9 or 10 mph I start getting power... hit 100 watts during a gust to about 20mph. Noise could be an issue for some, as there is a clatter from the nose cone at low speed (some silicone caulk could secure/quiet it). It also has what I think is a cool sound at low speed when the blades cut through the air when turning in variable wind conditions. Some may find it irritating, but it goes away in steady wind. Make sure to size your wiring properly... you're gonna be pushing 30 amps in high winds!

Update: Complete garbage. Lacking a tower/mast to mount and no help insight
Update post: this item came broken. After an year+ of building a mast for it, I finally got it set up on our off grid island to find that it was never going to work. I bought a new controller, tried all my connections over again, nothing worked. Then I found out when I took it apart to inspect, the inner three brass bands used to make connection for the three wires had completely melted and one of the connector rods that makes contact with the coil was snapped in half. See pictures. Don’t waste your time with this company.Original post: Even though the pictures show this on a tower tube/mast, you have to find in the fine print that there’s now tower provided and you have to design one yourself. Without easy access to a machine shop or very helpful hardware store, this “kit” is worthless. They should sell it with a basic mast that can be extended or strengthened with additional kits but there’s no support for it. I dragged this out to our off grid cabin, opened up the box, and found it can’t be set up without a mounting mast that I now have to waste several days at Home Depot trying to design. This is pathetic
