The quality is great and it has a nice heft. The lid will stay partially open from tension if you want, but I didn't find it necessary. The design holes in the lid provide adequate air flow for a small, quick-start charcoal to burn through at a steady rate.The only drawback is that the handle has no insulation, so picking it up after a couple minutes without a hot glove is out of the question. But I was expecting that from the photo.Thanks for a great censer!

This is an incense burner for charcoal but after a few minutes with a charcoal burning in it, your fingers get burned if you touch the top cross or the little handle on the top, to open it and put in the incense. And don’t think about using the handle to move it around and cense your house or anything else, as you will have badly burned your fingers in the process. Yes it looks nice and seems well made aside from being absolutely useless for what it’s made for. I really wasted my money here. Purely a decorative item and expensive for that.

I use this on my Altar in place of a small wooden box for my incense. This Censer is beautiful, has a high bright polish and the shipping was very fast. Great for both storing and lighting incense. I am 100% satisfied, thanks!
