Opalescence PF 35% Teeth Whitening 8pk of Mint flavor syringes (Latest product) (2 tubes each with 4 syringes)

I purchased 8 tubes (2x 4 Packs) and I am noticing that there are some differences in packaging from what I typically get from the dentist. After trying the gel, it does not seem to have the same consistency or "bubbling on teeth" characteristic of the gel provided by the dentist. --- I do not believe that this is an authentic product. --- I have attached photos... The first photo is the expiration date + Batch number of the syringe in question - The expiration date on the paper that came with the tubes differs from what is actually on the tube. In all subsequent photos, the bottom syringe is what I received from my dentist and the top is what I received - You will also notice the difference of the gel in the actual tube itself.

This is a counterfeit product. The top pic is genuine purchased from my dentist. There are subtle differences in the package on the bottom but note the lighter color of the green ink and the sloppy are printing of the lot number. The genuine product has clear dark printing and the vacuum seal is much tighter and the cover plastic is thicker and higher quality. Beware Amazon does not guarantee Authenticity of any of the products sold on its website. Well this may work I have not tried it yet it is absolutely a counterfeit product ripping off the original.

I have been a Hygienist for over 20 years.. When I got out of school, my instructor turned me on to this Whitener. I used it one time and did not have to whiten my teeth for years. I have tried other products and none of them work for more than two weeks and the the press ons did not last but two days. This whitener does the job. I just happened on it one day on Amazon and have it on my shelf ready to go when needed, Tell everyone not to use an product that is not 22-35% strong. It will not give you the whitener you are looking for. If you have sensitive teeth use the new Colgate Tooth Paste for Sensitive teeth after you clean off the whitener. Just put some on your finger and rub it on the teeth and keep the tube handy. It will immediately stop the sensitivity and is better than other pastes for sensitive teeth. I promise you will be happy with the results and they don't pay me to tell you this.- Pam Oldershaw, RDH

These items are NOT authentic Opalescence and do not work as advertised. I have used Opalescence teeth whitening gel from the dentist and from other sellers on Amazon that worked significantly better than the Ultradent version. I did not notice any changes to the color of my teeth. In fact, I did not even notice any sensitivity, which I have always had in the past. The packaging does not arrive as pictured, which is how I have always received my other teeth whitening gels. I would highly recommend using another seller for your teeth whitening needs. I also request to return my unused syringes for a refund after using 7 syringes and noticing a single difference. Unfortunately the seller does not stand by the quality of the item (unsurprisingly) and only refunded me for the syringes that were unused. Poor quality, poor seller, and poor customer service.

I get these from my dentist and use a custom professional tray for upper and lower teeth. Just ordered this after seeing how much cheaper it was online, and decided to try it. They are both 35%, I was sure to get the same kind so I could test for authenticity. I honestly can’t tell if they’re real... I think they are, but this time it seems to burn my gums a little. I just used the one from my dentist last night, and it does feel slightly different.I had a little left from my dentist purchase last time, which was about a year ago (I keep them in the fridge to preserve) and the tubes are ever so slightly different. Here they are compared. Per the other comments on similar products, I made sure to check all of them were sealed and new, which they all seemed to check out.

Opalescence is the BEST whitening gel I have ever used. I have been using this for over 20 years as needed, ever since I first got it through my Dentist. I have been ordering myself off Amazon for a few years now and have never had a quality or expiration date problem. This whitening gel is thick and stays in the trays on your teeth. If you buy the lower percentage you can even wear overnight without any of the gel seeping out of the trays. I have tired other brands throughout the years, but always come back to Opalescence. Other brands either foam out of the trays or don't work as well. If you use the 35%, don't leave trays in for over 30 minutes. Two days in a row about every 4-6 months is all you need to touch your teeth up and keep your smile sparkling white. If you get sensitive teeth, alternate wearing fluoride in your trays between bleaching. Store gel in your refrigerator and take out one syringe at a time to use.

I used this product for two weeks solid on my teeth with professional bleaching trays from my dentist. I got no effect. I went to my dentist and he gave me the same brand. I objected and said I tried that brand (Opalesence) and it had no effect, and requested another brand if he had. He inquired with me more and I told him I bought it on online. He said "Ahh... that is a common issue with buying a pharmaceutical product that isn't stored in a controlled environment." So turns out that it was likely in a hot warehouse for months if not a year. The active ingredients break down in a hot warehouse and become inert.You might be lucky and get a shade whiter. But if you want 5+ shades whiter, you are rolling the dice on this.

I use this gel inside of my retainer and leave it in for 30 minutes (as directed) and you can tell a difference in your teeth almost immediately!Although, a downside is that it can severely burn your gums. I only whiten my teeth about every three months, and even then it still burns my gums and actually makes them turn white in some places. Even though this gel does work, just be careful and keep that in mind!
