For those who have traded their cartilaginous shock absorbers for OA, especially in their knees, hips, and back, I think you will find Joyas a godsend. The air channel system of these shoes really absorb the shock which quickly becomes tiring and painful once you have OA. These sandals have a more narrow profile/platform than the Joya Colorado hikers I have which makes them a little unstable. But I like that--it helps stimulate the remaining tissue that forms the girdle around my knees to respond and maintain strength. I still wobble a little now and then, but I really like the way they make my skeletal system feel. A pair of these, along with regular sessions of AquaZumba, will keep you active and less reliant on NSAIDs. Can you tell I highly recommend them?

dry rotting in the seam of shoes
I liked the way they looked. But the main issue was dry rotting in the seam of shoes. Very disappointing. I thought for the price I would get a good product. Life goes on.

Great sandals
Most comfortable sandals I have ever had. My knees and hips also feel better since I have been wearing them.
