Tea Zone 10.6 oz Rainbow Mini Mochi, 25 Count

This mochi is SOO GOOD! It's light and fluffy ..I like to eat it on it's own or on top of frozen yogurt and icecream. My favorite thing about this mini mochi vs others is that it has a very light dusting of powdered sugar vs others that have a coating of cornstarch.

I did not know exactly what to expect. I've eaten full size mochi. Multiple flavors make this a nicer snack than a single flavor. Perhaps the manufacturer might try some flavors peculiar to Japanese candy. Kind of like little gum drops but softer. Instead of having a sugary surface like gum drops, there was a potato starch coating that prevented the pieces sticking together without adding a lot of sugar. As a first time buyer, I would have preferred ordering 2 or 3 packages rather than a box of 25. The Walmart site showed this product but at a price of $10.95 for one bag. Amazon's price was much lower.

Great snack and good flavor but way too much flour. I actually strain (shake off) of flour before serving. Stays fresh and a true mochi texture, squishy! Affordable and yummy!
