I have bought front loaders for years starting after I had trouble with another washer & dryer. However I found that the front loaders had tons of bells and whistles I never used not to mention every pair I bought from big brand names failed by the third year. I take super care of my appliances & when the bearings went on a front load washer before three years I had had it! My appliance company recommended Speed Queens. I remembered them from laundromats years ago. Bought the commercial heavy duty pair Speed Queen from Amazon & I am in Love with them! Fast, Fabulous and does exactly what a washer & dryer should...Thank you Speed Queen restored my faith in the washer dryer choice. Not overpriced either...

I was thrilled to try speed queen when looking for a traditional style washer, but TBH it is quite a disappointment. The washer doesn't clean as thorough as my old Whirlpool top loader which was less than half of the price, and the dryer doesn't shut off when a cycle is done after two weeks of use. I kinda regret my purchase and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Just got em and used once. It appears to be doing fine and cleans well. Sounds very solid. A motor and transmission and an agitator and not those stupid useless Impellers. Also not a lot of fancy buttons and gadgets which I have no use for so They improved SQ from 2018. And through September 2019 you get a full 10 year warranty on parts and labor and that's what finally made me buy it. Time will tell. But I believe I have a winner says my gut.

The washer was fantastic! Built like a tank. The dryer trap though was a terrible design. The way it’s built, whenever you open the door your dry clothes fall into the big lint trap, covering it with lint. I asked SQ (Who were aware of this issue) and they said you can buy a specialized lint trap cover but that they just get caught in the laundry and melt. Had it had a top mounted lint trap I would have given this purchase 10 stars, as the dryer worked in devils fast. But if you don’t appreciate your clean clothes being covered in lint skip the dryer and just go for the washer. It’s excellent.

Washer and Dryer are both still going strong. I needed a washer & dryer to hold up to our large family. I have used them daily for the past few years. If I were to change something. I would make them without all the push button technology and just the basic for good clean clothes.

Love this set. Washer drum is huge, perfect for large loads. Easy to use. Laundry comes out perfect. Dryer is fairly loud, but works well. Keep that buzzer set at the lowest level, it's very loud, repeats and can be really annoying. :-) I normally shut it off.

I love the simplicity of my new washer and dryer. The length of the cycles are much shorter than the last pair I had. They clean great!!

These were great ...for 9 months. The washer just quit mid cycle.Update:Warranty would have taken too long to get it fixed so…With some troubleshooting I found that it was a bad lid switch causing the problem. I ordered a replacement online and replaced it myself. Everything is fine now……Still should not have had this problem in such short time.
