Item came right on time. Beautifully packaged. I was very impressed with the price and the quality of the saw. Much stronger than I expected for a battery operated model. I also love the light weight and portability. Highly recommended.

Contractor since 1985; retiring progressively as I finish renovating our own house. I'm into the Bosch, Dewalt, Makita for my main arsenal. Needed a portable Sliding miter saw.This one is a great second saw for portability on the four levels from attic to basement and into tight spaces. I bought this saw for a project. I have not used Dewalt woodworking tools before. And I have definitely not used any battery operated. I'm used to commercial grade Tools, but these were a pleasant surprise. This piece of equipment really performed above and beyond what I expected. It didn't cost as much as I thought it was going to cost. It was very easy to adjust the settings to get the right cut that I needed overall. It's a 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this product.

This is easily one of my favorite tools! Safe to use and bevels and other movements are smooth and accurate. I love that it's battery powered AND lightweight - meaning I can throw it in my backseat and drive to a lumber store and, after obtaining the boards I want, measure and cut them down to size while still in the parking lot! No more leaving the lumber supplier, with several long boards protruding from my truck windows!

I love this saw. It has served me well in repairing the home that I bought this past year. I love that it’s cordless and so versatile. The bonus is that it was way less expensive than any other home store and it was delivered straight to my house.

This saw is great for small jobs. No need to pack in a heavy 12" miter box and stand anymore for a small job. I did have a lot of splintering with the 40 Tooth blade that was already installed when shipped. I did find out in the technical specification that it was to be shipped with a 60 Tooth blade. I figured it wasn't worth the effort to contest the shipment so I purchased a 60 Tooth blade at Lowe's for 25.00.

I had purchased this saw for its portability and small size; and have fallen in love with its ability to precisely cut very small wood mouldings. Being in the woodworking business, I have packed large and heavy 12” saws to and from job sites for years. But this little jewel has started seeing more of the job sites and hours of shop time. It’s basically a 7 1/4” version of the popular 12” compound sliding miter. I use the 5ah batteries with it and they rarely get tired. It’s very easy and light to pack around and I love the lighted line feature. I mostly keep a very fine blade on it and have found it useful in cutting a wide range of hardwood mouldings. However, I have found it most useful and logical, with certain shop made auxiliary fences, tables and such, to use it for small mouldings and trims that I would have before only wanted to use a hand saw miter box. For me, it has been a great purchase!
