Great conclusion to a well written trilogy
I just finished reading "Strike", the exciting conclusion to D.J. MacHale's trilogy. I really enjoyed the first two books, and started reading the third and final with cautious optimism. Too often, authors of series either run out of gas, plot-wise, or, must scramble to wrap up too many "open" story details as they strive to complete their work. I have seen too many otherwise great trilogies end sloppily. D. J. MacHale managed to wrap everything up nicely, while throwing in some fantastic plot twists, unexpected complications, and amazing science fiction technological ideas into the fast-paced and exciting conclusion of this very creative epic. Most impressive is the skill with which MacHale developed the main characters, right up to the end. Somehow, the main characters, mostly kids, saved the world - several different worlds, to be precise - believably, despite all odds and logic being against them, and retained their humanity and humility while doing so. In addition to his obvious writing skills, MacHale always amazes me with the concepts that he thinks up, in terms of futuristic technology, and how easily he can make even the wildest concept seem possible! He even managed to completely surprise me with how he finally concluded this story. This story has many characters who are very complex, many original concepts that require proper introduction into a fast paced and complex story line, and if that's not enough, MacHale throws in time travel and touches of simultaneous, multi-dimensional "realities"! Another complete winner for MacHale, and a great story for us!

A perfect ending
Reading the first two books of the series I often found myself frustrated at the slow pace the stories secrets were being unveiled. I was also disappointed by the story at points. It teased the reader with exciting directions the story would go. It failed to follow these directions each and every time. Instead settling for more drawn out and less exciting plot. However, the end of the book changed my opinion completely. It was a perfect ending that left me quite emotional. For some it's worth the read, for some it's not. The only way to know if worth it for you is to read it yourself.

I wouldn't want to miss this book for the biggest price thinkable! Amazing!
The first book was amazing. The second was good, but I felt a little let down as the second book was kinda slow, though by the end I had forgiven it and was happy I had read it. The last and final book .... D.J. MacHale, how can I ever express my love to your writing? STRIKE is amazing in so many ways. I have never felt so pleased about a conclusion of a book series before. You bond with the characters in a new way, and the axtion is none-stop. Read this book. Just do it. Right now.

I love the characters, theirs stories and how they stick together to change the world! By sticking together as a team the kids in this book defeat odds and save their planet from certain destruction.

Perfect ending
This book was amazing! A page turner with lots of action that never stops. I read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down! And the ending... oh man the ending was one of the best endings to a trilogy I've read in a while. I was actually extremely wary of how this would all end, honestly thought it would be really stupid or cheesy... but boy was I wrong. It was awesome! Every question is answered and it all comes together perfectly! Highly recommend!!!

This is the worst book series I've ever read
I don't even know if it's worth wasting my time to write a review of this book. This is the worst book series I've ever read. It should have just been a single book, and I wouldn't have been as mad, but no, it kept stretching out into more and more garbage and i was just wanted to know the big /secret/. The writing is subpar, the characters are basic, the "romance" is boring, the big reveal is underwhelming, the ending leaves you dissatisfied.
