The Dreaming I: An Interactive Dream Journal

Best dream journal yet to find
I absolutely love this dream journal. Has you approach your dreams in a whole new light and helps make conclusions otherwise missed. Plenty of space to write and I love that it’s not a basic journal. There are different sections and questions to prompt you to think.

Perfect Dream Log & Workbook
I've always been interested in my dreams, and I used to take notes in my phone of them when I woke up- this is much more convenient, though (no staring at a ridiculously bright screen, my sleepy-writing is better than my sleepy-phone-typing....), and plus, the design of the journal looks great. Even the cover's texture is lovely.Since it's paperback it's getting a little beat up from being carried around in my backpack, but that's alright; it just means it's loved.

Too much..
Instantly after opening and looking at it I realized that it is indeed a very complex book! Unfortunately I will be returning because of that reason. As a dreaming adult I thought this would be something that I would be able to simply wake up and write in but there are different sections you have to go to through to document your dreams and it’s just too much especially in the morning. Simple paper back book. Will probably just get a actual journal and go from there..

Not happy
Not what I expected. The book was bent and ripped. There aren’t any examples of what the specific dreams might mean

Do not buy Kindle version, buy physical copy
Maybe it’s my mistake for thinking the kindle version was actually interactive but it’s not. This book asks for a lot of journaling and writing which can’t be done directly in the kindle app. You can only take notes separately from the page itself. I wish I had bought the physical copy instead.

Makes exploring, tracking and understanding my dreams super-easy...and it feels special :)
I love this dream journal because it's so different from anything else I've seen or used. It's not just about understanding symbolism; the interactive nature of The Dreaming I lets me not only keep track of my dreams by writing them down, but it also gives me little exercises to do that help me better understand the emotions and experiences I have within the dreams. I like doing dreamwork with a practitioner but can't do it every day, so this is kind of like having a coach in the form of a book that makes keeping up with my personal dreamwork easy and less exhausting. So when I do have a session with a practitioner, I have a lot to work with already and we can dive right in and make the most of our time together.

The best tool to deepen your dreamwork practice!
Kezia is an amazing leader in helping us engage with, understand and manifest our dreams in every sense of the word! After diligently recording my dreams for a year in Dream Wisely, I was ready to deepen my commitment to working with them as a healing tool, and The Dreaming I was the best way to make that happen! Since purchasing the book, I've not only continued my daily morning ritual of writing down as much as I can remember about my dreams--including how I felt during each scene--but I've started using the 'reflect' and 'explore' sections. These sections have allowed me to match what occurs in my dreams with my waking-life somatic experiences, and use my dreams as prompts for creative exploration. All in all, The Dreaming I helps me better understand myself and the reality of interconnectedness, and I am so grateful that this tool exists. Thank you Kezia! Everyone go get you a copy!

I use it almost everyday
I like how the different sections are structured. I keep this by my bed so whenever I look at it I'm reminded to think back on my dream. I'm able to recall a lot from a dream if I do it right away when I wake up. Of course you could use any kind of notepad to record your dreams but I do find that the promts in this book are helpful for me!
