Nope
Without knowing anything about New Thought, I purchased this book based on the reviews and the description. I am a devout Christian who believes the spirit of God permeates all of His creation. I figured it could be possible for anyone to tap into this power. I was willing to see. Incidentally, I am both an engineer and a scientist. When I read Grout's book, I was instantly put off by the misrepresentation of quantum mechanics. Likewise, the author references several scientific sources, but these sources do not support her theories. This is a common marketing ploy used by scam artists. For example, a diet pill may say, "the Mayo Clinic has found obesity to be the number one health concern in America." While this may be a true statement, the Mayo Clinic does not endorse commercial products, especially diet pills. The purpose of citing the Mayo Clinic is to give the appearance of endorsement and support for the product. In the same way, Grout cites scientists and uses their words to support her theories, but none of them would personally support the FP. I find this very deceptive.Referencing the scientific method, Grout includes a form for each experiment. The purpose is to make everything seem very scientific. I suppose this makes the reader feel like a scientist. All of this appeared to be pseudoscience and on par with alchemy.Grout continued and went into religion. She equated the FP with God. She stated that God doesn't really care what we do and is always a positive force in our life. She said that religion, including religious texts, are all man-made - incidentally, her book and theories are also man-made. This is antithetical to the Bible and everything I believe in. In fact, it is similar to Luciferian doctrines.Even after these warning bells, I was willing to suspend my disbelief and at least try the first experiment. The first experiment was simply asking the universe (FP, God) for a blessing within 48 hours. She said this blessing could be anything, including a child sitting next to you on a park bench... ????? That screams confirmation bias. Even after this, I was willing to try.Grout gives a script to say for the first experiment, but she says that you can say whatever. I wasn't about to pray to the universe. Since she said that the FP is God, then I decided to pray to the Father. Even before that, I had the verse, "do not put God to the test" echoing in my head. I ignored it. Instead, I prayed to Him. I asked, if I am on the right track, then please show me confirmation with a blessing within the next 48 hours. That... was a mistake. For the next 48 hours, I had diarrhea, vomiting, and gas that smelled like something crawled up inside me and died. Near the end of the first day, it felt like I was having a heart attack. I had stabbing pains in my chest that lasted several minutes at a time. Finally, at the end of the 48 hours, to the minute, it all went away. God certainly sent me a confirmation. In the future, I need to heed the warning. Honestly, I knew better. At best, Grout is peddling out New Age psycho-babble for a quick buck and packaging it as "science." At worse, she's preaching Luciferian theology and disguising it as "science." If you receive a blessing, it may be just a coincidence or it may be from something you really don't want blessing you.

Please note that when you change the format to hardback ...
Please note that when you change the format to hardback, you are not getting a hardback version of the original book. It is actually the small summary-version of the book. This is not just a different format...it's an entirely different product.

Thoughts become things
One afternoon while I was reading this book, I spoke out loud challenging the Universe to give me a blessing within 48 hours.I might have been somewhat vague with my request but I said, My kids are having some financial issues and I want to have enough money to help them out.I work as a server at night in a lottery room.48 hours later...I laid down to take a nap. While I was sleeping I had a vivid dream.I saw the face of my IPad.Underneath the date, I saw the words, Greetings from the Universe.I went to work that night just as I usually do and within a an hour an older woman came into gamble. She begin to win outrageous amounts of money. With each ticket she had to cash she tipped me.20, 40, 50 and then a hundred. This went on non stop until finally I said to her,Thank you so much but this is too much. I'm beginning to feel uncomfortable about taking all of this money from you and not doing much in return. She began to cry.She said, You will probably not understand this but it's ok. I was told to be here.Well, I said. I want you to know that you just made a wish come true.I am extremely grateful for your generosity.Near closing time, as she was about to leave, she walked over to me and said, This ones for you too.She took my hand, placed an un cashed ticket in it and closed my fingers around it.She looked me straight in the eye and said, You have been blessed. As she walked away, I looked down, pretty much in utter disbelief. The ticket was in the amount of $287.00.The following morning, I got the call I was expecting. It was the kids, asking me if I was able to help them out.And yes, I had exactly the amount they needed, down to the last dollar.Thoughts do become things.Choose the good ones.Absolutely buy this book.I no longer have to challenge the Universe.I got my proof. And my life has never been the same.

I'm usually not a person that gives reviews on books ...
I'm usually not a person that gives reviews on books but I had to say one thing on this book. I tried the experiment that is about asking the "fp" as Pam calls it, to prove that it is there, in a matter of speaking. I travel often for work and was sitting on the plane reading about the experiment to prove to me within 48 hours with something concrete. I have been the type of person that has created parking spaces and small things in my life so I thought let's really test this and give it 48 hours. As I sat in my coach seat I looked forward and thought okay universe here it is, I want to sit in a first class seat the next time I fly. I travel all different airlines so I'm never on the upgrade to make it to first class.Well I got home and found that the next flight that was booked didn't have any seats assigned so I proceeded to look on the website for the airlines to grab a seat. The only seats available to me were first class seats at no additional cost!!If you are looking for a well written inspirational book that will give you concrete concepts to test and also an enjoyable read Pam's book is definitely one to pick up and read. I have read many and she is one that I will be re reading every so often for inspiration and reinforcement of my beliefs in the power of the mind and the energy of the universe or "fp". Thank You Pam

I made a 'little' mistake
I already own this book myself and was buying it as a present for someone else. Sadly I didn't notice that I was buying a 'miniature edition' so was rather astonished when I opened the package to find a teeny weeny book. I don't think it will be very easy to use in this tiny format. However the experiments themselves are great. I found, once I'd overcome my aversion to the very american style of the author, I had surprising and inspiring results from this book. I read it for book club but have returned to it several times since when my life is feeling workaday and drab and always manage to rekindle a sense of excitement.

dont fall for it
I really don't want to burst anyones bubble but it doesn't work. I'm open minded and know there's 'something' in this world we don't know or whatever but this book is a joke tbf. You try writing down to ask for a red feather lets say in 24hours and think hard of red feathers and i bet you a million pound you won't receive a red feather. Positive thoughts yeah you look and feel more positive and people are drawn to happy people thats not working with the higher aliens or whatever but to ask for a specific sign that only God himself could send you then trust me its a joke. Be positive people about your lives if you can but don't believe asking for things will do the job you have to make things happen. Before buying this book if you don't believe me do what she asks you to do in the first test and that is write on a piece of paper ' I want you to send me a sign to prove your existence' and write what you want sent to you but pick something really vague like show me a pink elephant I just asked for a white feather tbf and didnt get it at all and done everything she said and the other things nothing happened or for my gf and she's well positive and open minded. Hope this helps anyone as for me it was a total waste of money and time

Too small - only about 3" by 2" (75mm by 50mm)
A bit disappointed - was expecting a standard sized book. Not much science (gets you performing little experiments, more like wishful thinking e.g. expecting a gift or something good to happen within the next 48 hours). I bought it second-hand from a lady who had enthusiastically filled in the diary section for the first experiment because something good did happen within 48 hours, but she had given up by the second experiment because the odds get shorter with each experiment (experiment works or it doesn't for your results and it's cumulative if you want to stick with it). I would say that a lot of people would probably be disappointed with the size of the book and the fact that there is more to life than just wishful thinking. Having said that I found it an enjoyable read and it does get you thinking about the impact your thoughts have on reality. The title E-Squared suggests hard science and maths - forget it.

I had a roller-coaster relationship with this book. I ...
I had a roller-coaster relationship with this book. I was cheering when the author was saying how damaging much religion can be, and that this 'force' all around us, that some people call 'God' is a non-judgmental, neutral but infinitely powerful source of help to us. But despite this Christ keeps appearing, as does God, and I found her thinking very confusing as a result. I tried the first two experiments and got some interesting but hardly conclusive results; and found so many contradictions later on that I wasn't inclined to experiment further. I don't entirely reject her thesis, but I am not convinced that quoting a few sentences from quantum physicists counts as the hard research needed to persuade me to take it on board. Anyone who accepts the theory on the basis of this book is misguided and probably delusional.

"BEELINE EXPRESS TO THE HONEY POT!"
Kindle ebook purchase- Denis JI enjoyed the read with its multitude of examples of how people changed their lives; with some through serendiptous events occurring in their lives - previously put down to chance or simply fate. The author is humorous and has a certain writing style about her that is enjoyable, along with the "street garb" qualities that help get the message over that we are all at "cause" in creating our life experiences - wanted or not wanted.I was attracted to the book through the visual impacting cover, which relates to the famous scientist Einstein; and how everything is really energy waves operating at different frequencies of vibration. The author focuses on encouraging the reader to try nine simple experiments, to demonstrate that our thoughts and powerful mind can and does impact our reality - as we perceive it to exist intertwined with our five senses. The author, in trying to demonstrate the power that we all hold inside of us, by proving to ourselves that the experiments work; bring into play an undercurrent of powerful faith and belief - two important tenants - that we really do effect our reality by the way we think and focus our thoughts. The author brings to our attention the powerful "FP"; the energetic field of unlimited potential that exists all around us but invisible to our five senses. I call this energy field the "Non-Local" unmanifest realm, from which all matter is formed and dissolved back into. The author also highlights the need to be clear in thought with a focused intention that needs to be like a laser beam in impacting this creative energy. This view is similarly held by the new book out by Denis John George, titled: the "3-3-3" Enigma; where the expression: "Beeline Express" is used - meaning, to "let in" your desire to be experienced from this unmanifested field of creative energy, you need to align your desire with your whole integrated Being, The effect in achieving this state of awareness, converges the energy waves of desire and your integrated Self into one laser like focused energy beam. It is this single thought wave that impacts and bring forth from the unmanifest field your desire to be experienced in the realm of physicality.I applaud Pam for her book in trying to get people to realise they are much more than the physical bit which we see and believe that this is all there is to us? I recommend you buy this book on Amazon and prove it for your self!- Denis J
