Painless 10150 Harness 21 Circuit

I'm an electrical engineer so a reversed wire would not have been a big deal if Painless had included a wiring diagram with the kit. They do not. The kit comes with detailed instructions, but each connection is dealt with separately so the installer does not see most complete circuits from end to end. When I asked the technical support guy "JD" if I could get a wiring diagram, he said no because then people would steal their wire harness designs. I thought this was funny since Painless basically took the designs from automaker OEMs anyway. JD did tell me to check the connector with the reversed wires and I did find the factory mistake. At least their technical support guys have the wiring diagrams.

This is a 100% first class product. It’s everything they say and more. Quality and fit are perfect. Tons of extra parts. And the best installation manual. On the planet. I hesitated to spend the money, but after messing around with bad wires, broken connectors, and no labels at all on my 40 year olds CJ8, I went for it, and I couldn’t be happier. Took less than a day overall to install and have everything working again. Thank you for this product!!!

Worked great, made for an easy and uncomplicated install. The new manual is very complete: If I had the manual alone I could have done this at a fraction of the cost with half as many wires. Still, ended up clean and worked as advertised. Can't say as to the time involved to install because I was putting the whole jeep back together from scratch, but easily quicker than making my own harness even with the book.

excellent product, this harness is expensive but the quality is outstanding and the way it is built along with the instructions makes it very easy to install. I had mine complete in a couple of hours.

High quality replacement harness! The product documentation's very thick too. Read it all the way through before attempting this under a shade tree.

If your thinking of requiring a CJ7, get this kit! It’s the most complete, easy to install harness out there. All connections are pre-terminated except the ignition coil because there’s so many variation but everything else is just plug and play. Instruction book is perfect and contains everything, everything that needs done. Won’t recommend anything else.

Dose not come with every wire you need and dose not tell and show you were or how to wire the transmission wires case connector and did not give the wires needed

Works well, took a few days install. Only issue was when i bought the harness nothing i read said anything about not being able to use with the CJ's with a computer. I recieved the harness and then it said not compatible with CJ's with a computer. Had to by pass the computer to make it work. Other than that good product.
