Healthy hands, but unhealthy wallet.
Crabtree & Evelyn is a trusted brand which demands a premium price, and I think that is based on years of producing great quality products and this one is no different. The cream is quite thick but once applied it felt nice and light, and absorbed well without leaving a greasy residue. The scent of the cream was more subtle than I was expecting; I could detect the apple which was referenced in the product description but not a lot else. I would describe the fragrance as fresh rather than fruity, but that is no bad thing. My slightly dry hands felt well nourished after I used the cream a couple of times and it didn’t agitate or aggravate my sensitive skin. However, the small size of the product (25ml) means it wouldn’t last long with hands that were particularly weather beaten and cracked, as mine tend to get in the winter. The premium price (£9) for such a dinky (25ml) tube is excessive; that’s the equivalent of £36 per 100ml. In comparison, you can get an equally good result from a L'Occitane or Body Shop hand cream, but at half the price, which makes it difficult to justify the cost. But if money is no object and you like the Crabtree & Evelyn brand, you can’t go far wrong with this product.

Smells great - love it
Absolutely love this hand cream, which contains shea butter and has a slight whiff of apple about it initially, but then develops a scent that reminds me of Contradiction by Calvin Klein. The scent lingers for a few hours, but is very subtle and not overwhelming. The cream itself and moisturising and long-lasting, and I love the sleek little tube it comes in, which is very gender neutral.

Lovely but pricey
Lovely fresh scent - a little floral but not too sweet smelling. Rich and soothing and doesn’t leave any oily residue. However the packaging is bit unappealing, and it’s expensive for such a small tube.

nice
This hand cream is quite nice but I feel the drab green bottle lets it down. Also i do not like that it comes wrapped in an unnecessary plastic bag. There is too much plastic in our world and there was no need for it, it also does not say on this bag if it is recyclable plastic or not. Get rid!I really like the texture as it is light.I love the smell of this cream, it is strong and stays on my skin. This cream goes nicely onto my skin and absorbs instantly, leaving my hands feeling soft and smooth with a beautiful smell. However I do feel that for a small 25ml bottle £9 is very expensive.

Very good!
Perfect for travel (handbag sized). The scent is unisex.A very effective, non greasy, highly moisturising hand cream. Can't fault it!

A small tube, but you only need a little to hydrate the skin - smells great too!
I love Crabtree and Evelyn hand creams, they are so rich and moisturising and this little tube is as good as any I have tried before. You don't need much, which shows the quality - just a small amount is enough to cover both hands and hydrate the skin wonderfully. I really like the scent - it's hard to identify all of the notes, but it is a little spicy and fruity at the same time.

A little goes a long way
I love Crabtree's hand creams, although they are too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis. However, when I have some, I like to keep a tube in my handbag, as the 25ml size is perfect for that. This cream is rich without being sticky and greasy and a little goes a long way. This has an unusual spicy scent for Crabtree - gender neutral and somewhat more grown up than the usual florals. It lingers a little, but is not overpowering.Lovely.
