Michigan Fishing Umbrella Top Tilt Sides/Windows Brolly Shelter FREE Carry Bag, Olive Green, 75" 86"

I needed a new umbrella as my old one, which is about 15 years old, developed a small leak. After shopping around this looked like good value for money considering I only seem to find a couple of days per year to go fishing.The first time I used it I found that it leaked in virtually all the seams and so had constant dripping under the umbrella. Worse than my old one!. The sides are even less waterproof and will let water through if they have a crease. Save up your pennies and buy a better quality brolly I will be complaining as this one is not fit for purpose

Bought 86inch version for £29 August 2019.When I bought it one of the bullet points said: "Very strong and sturdy" THIS IS A LIE.I used it without the zip on side pieces and without the guy ropes/pegs etc. In medium/strong wind the umbrella just collapses, it is completely not built to handle anything above a very light wind. In medium to heavy rain it lets some rain through the material.I tried to stay out in the wind and after 20 minutes the inside 'skeleton' had ripped away from the outer material in 3 places. When I examined how it was attached the stitching was extremely weak.The tilt mechanism cannot be locked onto a tilt so the wind kept pushing it upright.The ground spike is very blunt, unless you are pushing into soft ground you will need an extra ground stabilising piece.I lost an old fishing umbrella that was much better quality than this but couldn't find it on Amazon so bought this Michigan branded product instead. Well I won't be trusting the Michigan name in the future. I don not recommend you buy this one unless you only want to use it in light wind/rain.

grate value fishing brollie,can be used with or without sides,plenty of room for all your gear to be kept out of the weather.when pegged down and guide ropes fitted as supplied it will keep the weather out and keep you dry in most wet fishing sessions,plenty of room in the 88" version for two to sit under to keep dry and even stand up under so long as your not the size of a basket ball player.all in all great value and better than most available on the net.

this turned out to be better than we thought, great protection, recommend to all anglers or anyone who needs the use of an umbrella with added protection i.e: while having a picnic or on the beach.

I purchased this product for outdoor activities with our grandchildren in the event of inclement weather - it's the best catch I will get? ? Because I don't go fishing.

I don't go fishing but this umbrella is perfect for picnics, BBQ's etc. Very quick & easy to put up/peg down & zip on sides, useful tilt to shield against chilly breezes and good carry bag to keep it all together. I wouldn't like to use it in extreme weather conditions, but then we wouldn't be out socialising anyway! Well made and cheap enough to buy another one. Highly recommended especially for outdoor get-togethers.

I bought this umbrella for my husband to go for fishing with and used only ones and already has some damages the quality is very poor

Did exactly what I purchased it for, I don't fish but I go camping a lot, this was perfect to sit under during the rain and great to store stuff under too.
