Update: my cat is obsessed. She carries them through the house to us when she wants to play. Five stars.I like these toys to have a long, sturdy stick to keep my hands clear of sharp kitty claws. The stick on this is pretty short and flimsy which makes it difficult for me to hold on to when kitty plays roughly.

I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them, as we are used to longer sticks on our feather wands, but our cats go CRAZY for these things! The sticks are not robust, but we found that allows the cats to bat them so they spring back in a way that's very enticing to them. These excite the hunter in your cat and gives them real feathers to chew on when the hunt is done. Our cats even like to drag them around the house by the feather end. Great fun for everyone!

I bring cats in from the street and foster them temporarily in crates. It’s almost impossible to play properly with cats that are not running free. Playing is an important tool for socializing kittens and older cats. These ones are a godsend for this purpose. I find the wand to be just the right length and just the right amount of spring and control and plenty durable. However the feathers do get pulled out and broken with use and if you leave them out unsupervised then you can just forget about it. The feathers will all be pulled out in minutes. So they don’t end up lasting that long and I do find the price to be a tiny bit painful if I have to keep replacing them. Today I am researching loose feathers and trying to figure out if I can refurbish these ones on an ongoing basis. I haven’t had an issue with the bell as others have described but I will keep my eyes open for that.

My cats LOVE these wands and had lots of fun while they lasted, but they are very flimsy and cheaply made, so it's not a very good value. The bells and every feather were torn off in less than 2 months. If you only have 1 cat, this is probably a good buy, but for multi-cat homes, there are sturdier versions of this that last a lot longer elsewhere. Keep looking.

Again one of Mr. Frodo's favorites. He is so hard on toys at 1 year of age, so ordered a couple of packs.But this wand stands up to hard playing much better than the ones I ordered before, which is surprising asthe wand it is much lighter than the ones before and the feathers seem to be glued in much better.My only complaint is that the little end cap on the wand kept coming off, so glued it with a glue gun.Also I would never leave Frodo alone with this toy due to the bell.But of course one must have a bell with every toy don't you know. :)

This is the BEST purchase I've ever made in the kitty toy department :) They have great "snap" to them, are long, and allow for great control, and the bright colors seem to really appeal to my guys...or maybe it's just the nature of the feathers. The bell also has a very nice soft ring that the cats find irresistible and that doesn't bother other people in the house...more so than other toys of the same type. Plus the 3 pack is great. Good price, good product.

Overpriced ($12 for 3) for a cat toy you could buy for $1 at the dollar store. The bells are large and don't make a pleasant sound and the feathers come out right away. The wands are not sturdy either. Disappointed in my purchase. My cats liked them for a little while but gave up on them when they found out they could pull out the feathers right away. Would not purchase again. Save your money and purchase elsewhere.

My cat had finished pulling all the feathers out of my last wand so I needed a replacement. There have been some small feather casualties so far but overall it's good. The wand has a really good flex to it so it's easy to fling the feathers around for more engaged play. I'm sure eventually the feathers will get pull out/chewed off of these as well, but they were a good value and should last a while.
