Organic Vegan Extra Virgin Olive Oil Unscented Bar Soap

I am a nurse and I suffer from terrible coconut allergies... I cannot use any soaps with sodium laurel sulfate or any of its family ... This soap has been a miracle! It moisturizes and leaves my skin feeling healthy! The previous review complaining of the lack of foaming is the result of a misunderstanding...those of us who know about sodium laurel sulfate know it is a coconut based foaming agent... if you want lather and foam ... go for those commercial soaps and pay the price! This company produces a high quality product which will end your dry cracked irritated skin...

I like the way it lathers up and you can even use it to moisturize your hair, it's great if you have skin allergies

Tried the liquid version that didn’t lather & decided to risk the bar soap. Mistake. Not only is it expensive, it’s a pain to wash with since it will not make suds with a washcloth/loofah/etc, without constantly applying the bar to it. Yet somehow the lather disappears from your skin so quickly you actually have to wonder exactly where you left off. How can both of these things be true? How do you make this soap work? I know, get a water softener so powerful it just showers you with pure salt.

I usually buy direct from Penns Hill but was pleasantly surprised to find them on Amazon. I have an anaphylactic level coconut allergy and cannot use soaps with any coconut derived lathering ingredients. They have the highest quality pure Castile soap I’ve ever tried. The bubbles in the lather of coconut-free soaps are small but clean just fine.

Pricey, but very nice, pure soap. It's a little drying, however, so one has to use a toner on one's face after use. I just splash on white vinegar as a toner and then rinse thoroughly with water. This is a great eco-responsible way to clean one's face. Plus, this soap leaves the skin ultra soft. You haven't seen anything like it unless you have used high quality pure olive oil castile soap before.
