Great product blew my mind
This thing is fantastic I'm using it with Kali Linux on my Raspberry Pi 3 and dual boot on my high performance desktop / laptop and on all three machines this thing performs within 20% or so of my $40 Alfa and it performs within 30% or so of my $60 Alfa and to be honest I was expecting it to perform about as well as a turtle on a drag strip and I was buying it just really for the antenna but I'm really glad I took the time to set the firmware up correctly please don't tell me it doesn't work if you haven't taking the time to work on firmware this has to be done correctly. Honestly if you have a relatively good handle on Linux you could easily set this thing up you don't even have to know any coding just have to know how to install packages and you know what to do if the firmware package isn't doing the trick go search for firmware packages that may not be directly related to the product you're trying to use it on but are indirectly related for instance I had to install two different WiFi firmwares for the internal WiFi for me to get this thing to work correctly I don't know why but I just figured it out. Anyway summary being if an alpha is plug-and-play in anybody to do it I'm beleiving more more that's what you're paying for( and of course if your professional penetration tester and you do it for a living then absolutely no substitute for an alfa no questions asked but for Joe average consumer why would you need to spend this much money $60 or so actually for an alpha when you can get this thing for under 20 and it does 80 to 70% of what you needed to do at the professional level). By the way I paid for this no one gave me anything for free I just bought this on a whim one night up late I almost never leave really great reviews like this so I figured I would just let everyone know.

Unable to use.
Check to see if you have a BIOS, first. Unable to access the firmware on a new Lenovo laptop and could not open the software.

GOOD WIFI CARD ... BAD SOFTWARE DISK ...
GOOD WIFI CARD ... when used with more powerful antennas ... but the software that came with this was unable to activate the beacon mode ... had to use other software disks that came with other similar products ... the software disk that came with this really sucks ...

OUTDATED!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT!!!
Damned thing don't even work. Looked up fixes on the internet... Beini is not being supported no more. Before you buy this outdated product like I did, do some research. At least I got a USB wireless out of it...
