My Scene Fab Faces Kennedy Doll

This is one of the funnest and coolest dolls by Mattel!! I've had her many times before, but they all got lost:( But this doll is a really fun buy!

especially when she scrunches up her face or does that cockeyed one sided smile. I'll post a youtube at some point.Got this one for the pediatric office as one of my many "Icebreaker" type toys, and it's perfect for that.Babies look at the face when it does the smirk and just crack up. Actually the parents crack up too. Heck, everybody cracks up.I can't comment on what kind of message it sends with the fashion, or if it's trying to "out-Bratz" Bratz, but this is just one hilarious product, and I'm surprised that somebody didn't invent something like this sooner. I have concerns about durability looking at the button mechanism, but it's probably fine. The labels on the control buttons are embossed or molded, not printed.

Using a set of tiny buttons embedded in her back, you can change Kennedy's expressions. Her face is made of some kind of semipliable plastic that allows her the following emotions:1. shocked incredulity2. mild surprise3. annoyance4. contempt5. petulanceAll very realistic teenage states of mind, if I remember correctly.By manipulating more than one button at a time you can get her face to make some very...um...adult expressions, which is very, very amusing. My husband and I were laughing out loud in the middle of the toy aisle.How appropriate is a toy like this for little girls? It's hard to say. Yes, she dresses (and makes faces) like a hustler's b****, but most little girls will only see the sparkles.

well I did get this for my 6 year old...we both thought the faces she makes are hysterical.... she doesn't care how they are dressed, other then they are sparkly and she has a crown (priorities ya know)....and they are not any worse then the bratz dolls. Has anyone ever even shopped in the little girls section? all the clothes are starting to look like what these dolls are dressed in (I do not like the outfits). It is hard for me to find something appropriate for my 6yr old.Anyhow, it's just a doll....I think the 'face buttons' could have been smaller and less obtrusive on the back.

I have been searching the stores everywhere for this doll! I have Chelsea and Nolee and now need Barbie and Madison. They changed Barbie's name to Kennedy to match the My Scene "naming theme." All of the My Scene characters are named for places/streets in New York! Use Wikepeda to find out more. Madison is named for Madison Avenue, Byrant for Byrant Park, Hudson and River for the Hudson River, etc.Update: I just got this doll, and she's great! The only problem is that her boots for the second outift are a little too high for the pink capris. Other than that, she's great.

This competion between My Scene and Bratz is getting out of hand. Mattel has gotten so desperate that it has decided to come out with these scary dolls. You push one of the 5-6 buttons on the dolls back and she changes her facial expressions. The smiley face button to make the doll smile makes the doll look like a Cabbage Patch doll (no offense). In this day and age of technology, Mattel couldn't have come up with a better way for the dolls to make facial expressions? I have an idea! For the next My Scene Fab Face Doll, make her stick out her tongue so she can give Mattel a raspberry! Holllaaaaa!

(I guess)that the only reason why mattel changed Barbie`s name to Kennedy is because there were probably problems with other companies since Barbie is the world wide brand o the girst dolls ever invented.Oh well.I think Kennidy is more of a last name.I think of president Kennidy.lol.But this doll is gorgeous.I don`t see much that people would complain because her dress is long.She also has a purse with a white cat in it!She has cute accessories and another outfit that is cute.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN, THE DOLLS LOOK LIKE STREET HOOKERS AND HAVE FACES TO MATCH....WHY WOULD THEY EVER THINK THAT A CHILD WOULD WANT TO PLAY WITH A HOOKER....WHAT MESSAGES ARE WE SENDING TO OUR CHILDERN...."IT'S OK LIL SUSAN, IF YOU WANT TO BE A HOOKER MOMMY SUPPOSRTS YOU" DO NOT SUPPORT THEM WITH THE DANG DOLL!!!!!!!!
