Theo - An All Natural Woodsy Cologne with Bergamot, Petitgrain, Lavender, Neroli, Vanilla and Cedarwood, 10mL

Love the roll-on design of the bottle. Seriously hate spray bottles after using this - doesn't get all over everything and definitely easier to control how much I'm using....don't have to wash any off due to over-spray so I don't destroy my co-workers sense of smell!The scent is very woodsy, which fits my glorious beard and flannel persona. Only feedback is I wish it came in slightly larger bottles. I'll probably lose it and end up buying another.

Nothing wrong with it just not my smell

I bought my first bottle of Theo recently and the day after it came in I had a first date scheduled with a girl to go on a hike. I thought , what a better opportunity than to trial this new smell than while on a first date? When I first opened the bottle and smelled it, I thought it was... hmm “okay”. I understand this isn’t a very expensive cologne that’s going to be perfectly scientifically altered to please the olfactory receptors but I intentionally bought something to embrace a more holistic and natural scent while not masking my own pheromones too much. The smell was a solid 3.75/5 but then I applied it over my radial arteries on my wrist and took in a big whiff. This time it smelled more “manly” with a conifer-tree-smell to it. I put it on my neck and my wrist and tossed the roll on bottle in my pocket. I jumped in my Jeep and when I picked her up she jumped into the passenger seat. Right away there was no nerves between her and I and we openly talked as if we knew one another from a previous life time. She saw the bottle in the cup holder and picked it up. I told her it was a new fragrance for me and I was trying it for the first time. I put my wrist out for her to smell. While looking at her, I was mentally prepared for her to be polite and say she liked it, even if she didn’t. At this moment I focused on what her body language and facial expression would tell me. She took in a big whiff and instantly smiled while saying (in her cute accent from Chile), “I like it, it’s sweet!” *disclaimer: men, don’t be deterred by her saying “sweet”... it’s not sweet like a perfume or flowers like you may be imagining.. it’s a manly/metro smell if anything. Anyways, she randomly picked up my wrist to smell it several times over the next 10 minutes; each time she’d smile and say she liked it. Needless to say, the hike went well and we are to go on a second date in two days from now but this time she wants to come over to cuddle and watch a movie, per her request. 😉 Theo’s been a great experience so far for me and I’ll be coming back for more.

I had such high hopes for this blend! Sadly, all I smell when it’s on my skin is Neroli and Vanilla. I cannot detect any of the other oils. Any sweet scent tends to be even sweeter once I apply it to my skin, but I hoped the Lavender and Cedarwood might keep the sweetness down. The longer it has been on my skin, the more vanilla is almost all I smell. If you have the same issue, this blend is not for you. I will keep it and use with other oils that have a more earthy and herbal aroma.

So this is my second, in-depth review for people who have the time to research and want a really descriptive review. I LOVE the scent of this cologne! I've lived all over the world, and travel about 8 months out of the year for work, but this scent brings me home every time! I'm an avid outdoorsman, living outdoors despite the season (boarding in the winter, camping in the summer, hiking in the fall, etc), and I love it because it gives me that "fix" when traveling around in the cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, Phoenix, etc. It's really unique, and people ask about it and and seem to really like it (they compliment me to my face at least). Heads up though, and this isn't even a downside, but, a little advice when you start using it, a little goes a LONG way, as it's a very powerful and dominant scent. I accidentally put on to much the first time, and radiated "pine tree" all night. But, I actually like that because it means it lasts for a long time, so it's a GREAT value buy! I also recently started mixing just a touch of it in with my beard oil (LayRite), and I LOVE IT EVEN MORE! The scents of the 2 combined compliment each other PERFECTLY, and my girl has told me numerous times that she likes it when she hugs me because my beard smells great (rugged and manly where her exact words). I am definitely hooked on this, and I'll definitely will be buying more, and would recommend that everyone give it a shot, you'll love it!

I originally purchased this cologne because I had to toss my regular bottle out at the TSA check point.Figured for the price I could experiment a little bit and I’d never have to toss this one out since it’s below the TSA size requirement.Fortunately I enjoy the scent as well. It’s a subtle sweet and musky scent.It starts with a sweet, maybe vanilla, scent with an aftertone that has a musky bite to it.But this scent is never over whelming.The biggest down side is that it only lasts a few hours maybe.But the bottle is so small you can bring it along and re apply.When applying the cologne, I recommend you dab it on rather than roll it on since it tends to come out easily.

Not a fan of this scent. I don’t find it “woodsy” at all. To me it smells more like I just walked through a field of weeds.I like the size of the bottle and the fact that it is a roll on oil, but I would suggest a different scent from Theo & Amelia.

Absolutely love the Theo. Reasons why this my new favorite scent:1. I travel a lot for work and wanted something easy to bring along in my carry on. This works perfectly.2. The scent is very refreshing but not overpowering.3. The lavender and vanilla hints are my favorite. Again, subtle hints but definitely there when someone gets close.4. Love it so much I will buy a couple as stocking stuffers for the holiday season for my family members and friends at work.5. Multiple comments already from my girlfriend about how good I smell :)

A really very nice masculine scent.
