THE SMELL WILL TELL
It's not difficult to determine if your ginseng will work for you. Open a capsule and smell it. Fresh ginseng always without an exception has a powerful smell of its own. SolarRay ginseng has that fragrance and works.

It had an effect
I could definitely feel it change me over weeks of use. I felt more awake and energetic. I started to feel anxious and stopped taking.

Seemed authentic but...
I ended up returning the item after not being able to find it anywhere on Solaray's site. Could be an old stock/discontinued and authentic or could be fake. Packaging looked authentic though..

Helps with energy/mood
I definitely notice a difference when I take this (and when I ran out). It helps with my energy and my mood. I also take Ashwagandha, Rhodiola & Lion’s Mane supplements to help with mood & stress, along with my prescription medications. I only take one of these a day in the morning — the one time I experimented with taking a second in the afternoon I had trouble getting to sleep.
