Ruiling brand supplies at a very low price A Reliable thermal switch in the KSD-301 configuration commonly used in a number of household devices to regulate temperatures. It operates normally in the closed position allowing current to flow to the heating elements. However, when the thermal switch reaches the temperature indicated on the switch for a specified length of time, the switch opens interrupting the flow of electricity to the heating element. When the switch cools to a preset low temperature setting it closes the circuit again allowing the electricity/current to engage the heating element once again. This switch meets my needs for maintaining a paraffin wax bath.

These worked well for bringing my smoker back to life by correcting the low heat issue.

Replaced this thermal control switch on a GE Microwave. This DIY needed some new tools (screwdriver with hex bits) to remove the microwave casing. The old thermal switch was melted (not sure why) and it was a bit tricky to disconnect it from the wiring. This thermal control switch (KSD301) was a close match as the previous one (KSD201) was old and too expensive to get on Amazon. The voltage, current ratings, switching temperature and the default state (closed) specified in the spec sheet inside the microwave casing were the same between the two parts. Replaced the old one with this new switch and the microwave was back working. Added advantage of this new switch is that it resets back to the original state (closed) once the temperature goes back to normal. Didn't test this feature but some other reviewers did. A 2 pack with even less cost would have been more ideal. Now I have 4 idle switches in my electronics drawer. I just hope that I will remember that when this kind of failure occurs way in the future.

Bought these to repair a small 12v tire air pump. First one out of the package did not work, but the next one worked fine, and the remaining ones do as well (tested them with a meter and heat source). Price is reasonable enough that I am not concerned about the single defective unit. Just posting this in case it helps someone else in the future.

No complaints, installed it as a replacement in a microwave and it works. I didn't check the trip temperature precisely, but it trips if heated up with a lighter, so it's at least guaranteed to shut down you microwave if it's on fire.

Product has a ring that is supposed to support the device but is too loose. It has the OEM markings but not the same thing(?) The single device shown is the OEM original and the one with the pack is the device sold here. Freely floating can short out circuit.

Saved me a lot of money not having to buy a new steamer. This was an easy fix! Fantastic build quality and functionality. Accurate product description.
