This is an excellent watch. It’s very clear to read and is light enough for you not to notice it’s on, whilst at the same time being sturdy and durable. I’ve had Casios since I was a child but always the cheaper digital ones, which I’ve always found to be excellent in their own right. They never come off my wrist as they’re durable and waterproof enough not to need to worry. This watch is no different. In fact, the G-shock is just an upgrade in that regard. My only reservation is with the tiny LCD display, which is too small for me to read in anything other than direct sunlight. This down to me eyes, but others will feel the same. The watch has every feature you’d need and none that you wouldn’t. The hands are clear to read with just a glance from any angle and they retain their luminosity through the night (although this isn’t bright) to enable you to tell the time without pressing the light button. This saves battery over the years and is welcome. I have 7” wrists and it doesn’t feel too big or too small - just nicely chunky. It’s low profile too, which means you don’t bash it on every door frame that you pass or snag it every time you take your top off. I replaced the strap as soon as I got it, to a NATO style strap, so I can’t comment on the qualities of the strap. Buy with the utmost confidence. This is excellent.

Brilliant watch

Lovely looking watch, really comfy to wear. I’m a bit short sighted so can’t really see the digital display or the day arrow without my glasses on, with them on i can just see them but then you have to angle it in the light just right to see it. The analogue face though with its white markers and arms is clear enough that’s why I’ve kept it. Setting it up is straight forward, it’s a watch. Has stopwatch, countdown timer, 3 alarms, dual time zone, hourly beep or not, daylight saving time option, digital date and day arrow display, one light located at about number 5 on the face, moveable hands and water resistant to 20 bars. Also, all the buttons are easy to press and not like some Casio watches where the set button (A) is flush with the case. Hands & number markers are luminous too which is great. Couple of things. . 1 it doesn’t actually have dual lights as the manual says it does, it’s just one light and 2, to move the hands out of the way so you can see the digital display, you need to hold in the B button and then Press C, the manual says press both b & c together and that’s not so. I like it, it looks great and I’m going to get the metal bracelet one too to be a more dressy watch. Can recommend.

What can I say more? Its a G-Shock, durable, tough, I wearing it almost every at work, I am an industrial maintenance technician and even beaten my Casio it still almost new. This design is one of the best for every day care and some style on it. I love the analogic vessel.

Very pleased with the watch great value for money

I have recently started getting in to watch collecting and this is one my favourites that I have. Easily gets the most amount of wrist time. Being a Casio you know it's going to be reliable. It looks fantastic and the white hour markers and hands really stand out against the black background. The watch being a G-Shock is going to be able to withstand knock after knock and of course is also waterproof. It's also extremely light and very very comfortable to wear. Setting the time is very simple using the world timer function. Out of the box it was set to Tokyo time but scrolling through the London was very quick and the hands then move themselves to the correct time!! Light is nice bright although I recommend changing it to 3 seconds from the default as it does not stay on while the button is being and in stead is timed. Can be a bit confusing navigating through all of the many functions at first but a quick YouTube will give you plenty of handy videos. Honestly cannot recommend these enough and if you've been thinking about getting one then I would say just go ahead and buy. You won't be disappointed!

Great product

Smashing watch. Lives up to g shock build quality but in a slimmer build compared to other models.# Ignore the negative reviews about setting the time, they are talking nonsense. It is a doddle, and takes no time. Just accept this is a digital watch with an analogue display. Also saw negative reviews about no second hand. Well it is pretty clear there is no second hand so don't moan about it you muppet. Part of the charm and you don't miss it. Other than that, easy to read, even the small display is clear. lume is a bit weak, one to improve on to seiko standard and the light is functional at best but I love it. strap is very comfortable. then when you are ready get an aliexpress mod case and strap job, looks even better.

Nice watch, however the directions can be frustrating. YouTube had the best walk through, for setting the watch.

Ich wollte aus optischen Gründen erst die Version mit dem schwarzen Ziffernblatt. Ich habe mich dann aber für diese Version entschieden. Die Ablesbarkeit der Uhrzeit ist einfach nur topp. Zudem ist der Tragekomfort der Uhr aufgrund des geringen Gewichtes einfach super. Gegenüber meiner Automatikuhren merkt man die G-Shock kaum am Arm. Leider gibt es die Version nicht als Funkuhr mit Solar aber mit Bluetooth und Solar allerdings brauche ich keine Uhr, die sich mit meinem Handy koppelt. Das Einstellen der Uhr geht gut von der Hand, wenn man einen Blick in die BDA geworfen hat. Jedefalls eine tolle Alltagsuhr - rubust, wasserdicht und sieht sogar gut aus.
