Good Value Toner
Purchased these several months ago. Price has gone down and even better value. When the printer indicates toner is out, it's not. You can still print for quite a long time. The black toner finally ran out and I replaced it yesterday.First, you have to pull the chip out of your old cartridge and put it in this one. This task is tedious. Removing from the old is simple, but inserting this tiny chip into the small space is challenging. First, it will not fit. That is by design so that when it supposedly "snaps" into place it will stay. Well, I thought I was going to break it or the cartridge trying to get it to snap in. Second, when you remove the chip, look at its orientation so that you make sure you do not put it in upside down. Third, I placed the top of the chip away from me into the slot, and then using the pliers they supplied, took the tip and gently pulled the edge of the new chip space closest to me just enough so that the chip started to fall into place, and then using the tweezers supplied, pressed it in.After that, it was easy. Pull the tabs and inserts out, put it in the printer, fire it up and print. Print quality is perfect. I did not replace the color cartridges yet because they still have life in them. Also, because the chip you use is indicating toner is empty, it will continue to so indicate. You just ignore it and print.Hopefully soon there will be some after factory toner cartridges that have chips, but until then, this is a good way to go and save yourself about $600!

In the long run you’re better off buying the real thing
I purchased these toner cartridges in May of 2020. They worked great for a while. After about 6 months a thin black line of toner started showing up on the right side of the page of every single print. The issue got progressively worse each time I printed something new. For reference, this is a home printer and we don’t use it a ton. Just school projects, crochet patterns, recipes etc. Anyway we hadn’t used it in a quite a while and this week I printed out some crochet patterns and it was like the black cartridge had just DUMPED toner down the right side of the page - and it wasn’t heated - so it just comes off the page and gets onto EVERYTHING… your clothes, your hands… it’s a mess. AND - the right side of the inside of my $500 HP Laserjet MFP M479 was now COVERED in toner. Sigh. I contacted the company as the y specifically state there is a “LIFETIME GUARANTEE” etc. I sent them the pictures I’ve sent you. Through a series of 5 emails - back and forth- she kept asking for me to print out a page I didn’t know how to do - a self inspection page. Even though I printed out the printer’s diagnostic page - that wasn’t good enough. In the meantime - I took all the cartridges out of the printer to try to clean it out. I looked up videos of how to do this and you wouldn’t BELIEVE what a pain in the butt it is to do it the right way and way over my head…. So I just did the best I could with a vacuum, a tee towel and a can of air. When I went to put the cartridges back in?? The printer now doesn’t recognize two of the original HP chips. The cyan and magenta. Grrrrrrr. So. Now I have to go buy genuine HP cartridges anyway - because now it won’t print ANYTHING. I was so frustrated yesterday I literally thought I was gonna have a heart attack. And even after that - there’s no telling if my printer will work right again - because of all the toner this cartridge dumped out inside it.Save your time and money. If you live in or near a big city - Call a local toner Remanufacturer store. I got a refilled HP cartridge with original chip - the high yield “X” cartridges (6,000 pages per cartridge instead of 2,000) for $130 each. If they fail - the store is within driving distance and they’ll be more likely to stand by their warranty claims.

Concerned about unknown product, but turns out to be all good.
So my new HP Laserjet Pro M453 is impressive, but the included HP cartridges provide little more than enough toner to give the printer a test. We will be using it to print full color church bulletins and other batch printing jobs, this means finding replacement high-capacity toner cartridges that won't break the bank. I think we have found an answer. Colors are rendered as faithful as in the original cartgridges and as smooth and dense as you could hope, plus the cost is quite competitive. You must remove the chip from the original cartridge and install it in the new cartridge before use. Small pliers, tweezers, and instructions are supplied to do this. I was able to do it myself easily in all the cartridges and I'm not a "techy" by any means. You must do this to make the new cartridges useful as HP won't let the printer work without installing a chip. One day, after more of these new model printers are in use, I'm pretty sure chips will be included on replacement cartridges or available separately. In the meantime I can live with this arrangement. I am very happy with this cartridge set. Great price, fast delivery, and they work perfectly.

Works great, but the levels are wrong.
This product is less than 1/3 the price of buying genuine HP toner. It's pretty easy to switch the chip over, and they came with great instructions and the needed tools. The only issue I have, is my printer still shows toner low with these new cartridges. Not a huge deal, but they should figure out how to fix that.

Value: Worked perfectly for 18 months
Good value for money. Worked for 18 months of low-volume printing; then started showing streaks on documents. Color accuracy is good enough for us--not sure how accurate it actually is.I don't think the non-OEM toner is harming the printer, but if it is I can buy a new printer with the savings--but there's no sign of damage.
