Toy us adorable! Love all the interactive features! Gave as a baby shower gift along with the matching story book.Unfortunately, the seller shipped it in a light weight plastic bag and the toy display box was torn and damaged in two places! I taped it a bit but it was still noticeable. Definitely needed sturdier wrapping for shipping!

My daughter is in love with this. Purchased when she was almost 2.5 months old and it was love at first sight. We find her staring and smiling at it constantly. I think she loves his face, mostly. A great distraction toy. Do any pregnant friend or family member a favor and purchase this for them. It will keep the baby endlessly entertained.

Love the colors in this toy and the many textures and sounds it makes. Will fit the car seat nicely. Is a baby shower gift.

As a child I loved reading “the very hungry caterpillar” so I was super excited to see that there was a very hungry caterpillar toy for babies! I purchased this toy to hang onto my newborns car seat handle for amusement during our car rides. I also use it to strap onto his stroller when we take walks around the neighborhood. My 4 month old loves the colors and sounds the toy makes. It crinkles, rattles, and even plays twinkle twinkle little star when you press the music button. My reason for 4 stars is because I wish the velcro straps were a little longer so that it hangs a bit lower for my son to more easily grab/see. I do have a baby that’s much smaller than most babies, even at 4 months he’s the size of a newborn, so that probably has a lot to do with his reach, but it would be nice if he was able to grab onto all the different parts of the caterpillar while it’s hanging. Most of time I have the caterpillar laying on his lap or next to him because he is unable to reach for it. My son loves it whether it’s hanging or has it laying on him so he has no issues, but since I’m the adult who can form opinions I’m docking the one star for short velcro straps. Other than that very small thing we both enjoy the caterpillar together and recommend it to other parents who are looking for a cute car seat/stroller toy for a little one!

I first got this at a thrift store when I was pregnant with my first child late last year. This has been a life saver for me, especially in the car. I do not hang it on the car seat, I just put it in his lap and the car rides are more enjoyable since he is preoccupied.The last week of June 2015, my husband and I with a 3 month old had to move cross country (California-florida) for our jobs, and I just sat in the back seat of the car with my son. When he would fuss or start to cry, I would just shake this and he would calm down. It has so many activities for all of the stages as an infant, that I am highly impressed. It has a music chime, 2 rings that he grabs and puts in his mouth, a rattle ball that you can spin, a ring with some beads to move and a squeaker apple.This is his favorite toy and it never get old; he loves anything that has to do with the hungry caterpillar.We love it so much, I bought 3 more from here and gave it to 3 newborns, and they love it too. I will continue to purchase this for my friends that have babies, and will probably buy another one as back up!!

I got this for my daughter when she was about 4 months old to accompany the book as her very first toy. She is now 11 months and still loves it! Her favorite things to do are spin the ball and chew on little crinkle cushion. The song is quite nice as well. Overall, it has held up quite well as the months have gone by.I have since bought two more caterpillars as baby shower gifts and both mothers-to-be loved it. It will continue to be my go-to baby shower gift!

Very nice car seat toy. Ties on the carrier rail just right where it's dangling and she's able to touch it, but it's not drooping too low where it touches her face. The teether is too far to actually reach her mouth but is a perfect handle for her to pull on and make rattle sounds. The different textures and sounds it make (clear ball with beads, crunchy plastic wrapper, music) keeps my little one entertained. Makes car rides so much easier!

This is a great toy for connecting to the stroller (I used links to make it longer). Really like that each part is different in texture and what it does. The music is nice and the mirror is a hit. We also use this during tummy time as there is lots to do and easy to put within reach

What I like:- keeps my son entertained daily (purchased just before he turned 4 months and he’s now 5 months)- vibrant colours just like the hungry caterpillar from the book- each section has different textures and there are crinkly/crackly sounds to stimulate senses. It plays twinkle twinkle little star when you press the music button- large in size- feels soft for babies hands and looks well madeWhat I don’t like:- the straps that are used to attach it to the pram bar or the car seat are so weak, as other reviews have mentioned. One pull and it comes off as the Velcro isn’t very strong at all. So, even though I think it’s well made overall, I think in terms of value for money I would knock a few pounds off for this reason alone. The straps have a very cheap feel and look.

habe die Raupe zur Ablenkung meiner Tochter (3 Monate) im Auto gekauft, da sie immer Rabatz gemacht hat und was soll ich sagen, es funktioniert einwandfrei!Sie betrachtet das Ding jedesmal ganz fasziniert. Vor allem die kleinen bunten Kügelchen in dem Ball zum drehen findet sie ganz toll, kann man auch super während der Fahrt immer mal wieder anschupsen.Wer in der Schule ein bisschen aufgepasst hat, merkt übrigens ganz schnell, die undefinierbare Melodie ist das ABC-Lied. ;)Die Raupe ist ziemlich groß und super geeignet zur kurzweiligen Bespaßung.Die unterschiedlichen Stoffe, knalligen Farben und Activity-Elemente machen sie für jedes Baby interessant!Und für den Preis einfach nur empfehlenswert!

This toy is amazing. So many sensory interactive bits to play with and textures to feel. My daughter loved the spinning balls and the little sun in the pouch. It's sell well made and the fabric choices are perfect. There are textured fabrics, crinkly sounds, bells and squeaker and the spinning ball and also plays music. We love this toy and ideal for and child who loves the very hungry caterpillar.
