I read this at school but re reading some 35 years later it seemed much better-I would have even liked a sequel.Well worth giving another go!

Loved this book as a child andbought a copy for my granddaughter hoping itBecomes one of her favourites as well

I read this many years ago, I enjoyed it again . The characters, atmosphere, scenery were as evocative s ever. Ap art from Rébecca I'v e not read anything else by du Maurier but I shall have a go.

A really exciting read with a strong female protagonist. The settings are atmospheric and the story fast paced. It is quite un-put-downable even on a re-read.
