Driveway Games Bolo Toss Game - 3D

The game box states there are 8 bolo balls, but my set had two of each color (4 total). When I first tried to set it up - one segement of the tent pole was cracked. I went ahead and set it up, so it was a little lopsided, but playable. My kids age 9 and 4 loved the game. My 9 yr quickly made up different rules that worked well. Skeet ball work well too. Which is just taking a rubber ball and rolling it into the holes in the base. So bottom line its super cheap, and I am going to exchange the one that was sent to me. However the kids found it fun and I loved seeing all the different ways they could play with it. Seems this company would have a winner if only they spent a few extra pennies making it more durable.Also just a quick note that the way these poles attach to the base. The poles which are under tention barely set into metal rings in each corner. If a little one was to pull on this, it could snap up at the child.

So the game came with a broke part but Amazon got that resolved for me quick.The game is fun.. my kids LOVE playing the grown up ladder ball .. or as our family calls it "Montana Golf"... but they freak me out with the hard golf balls. I thought this would be a great alternative.I took this to a family camping trip and I wasn't shocked, but this thing is destroyed by the end of the trip.It is not durable unless your kids are sweetie pies who are never rough. We had kids ranging from 1yr old to 8yrs old playing with it.I plan on buying another one and using the leftovers from the first set as spares.It is fun and if it is used right, treated well, I'm sure it would hold up just fine.

Set up was so frustrating, the directions weren't great. The game is too advanced for younger kids - 6-9 but older than that really enjoyed it. Putting it away for the winter and then setting it back up was a chore, everything got tangled even though we did our best to put it away neatly. It didn't get played with at all this past summer, so I guess the novelty had worn off.

Unlike traditional bolo stands, this one has thin rods and the ball ropes tangle more easily and take more work to get off. It's ok for the bonus game aspects, and I really like the rubber bolo balls as opposed to harder ones. I use them with a regular stand now.

The game is a great idea but the poles splinter where they connected the first time we put it together. We took it to the park for Easter and was unable to use it due to that. Great idea just not made to use. We have several other games like this but none of them were made so poorly. I would not recommend.

The kids love this toy they make their own rules. We'll have lots of fun with it for days to come

This took 4 people to put together and it broke in the process. Can be very dangerous when it breaks! Duct taped it together, but it's still very weak. Played with it for about 1/2 an hour before getting tired of having to tweak it just to be able to play it. If it was easier to put together, and more sturdy, it probably would be a fun game.
