Tiny Tony's 100 Pack - Individually Wrapped Bites (Dark)

Honestly, I bought this product because of their more fair trade practices. I find that child labour & slave wages make other brands of chocolate taste bitter. Looking at YOU Nestle! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of these chocolates. You get a LOT of chocolate on this box, and it’s smooth & tasty. I’m a fan!

Very expensive which makes it very disapointing and I am annoyed that there is not recourse or way to return it. Fat and sugar bloom damage the appearance of chocolate and limit its shelf life. Chocolate that has "bloomed" is still safe to eat (as it is a non-perishable food due to its sugar content), but this has an unappetizing appearance and surface texture,

The idea that I know exactly where my chocolate is coming from is invaluable; in addition, to knowing that it is slave free is exceptional. And must I say the chocolate tastes amazing! I love dark chocolate. I don’t like the idea that It might contain milk, but that’s a personal preference for me. Thank you Tony Chocolonely for breaking the mold and setting an example for other chocolate makers. After watching the Rotten documentary about chocolate I was frustrated and really sad. So thank you again for helping to break just one of the many generational curses.

I love Tony’s! I ordered the multipack for the whole family, but got dark instead but hey! That was my second option and my personal favorite.

It was a little waxy for me, and didn't melt or have as nice a mouth-feel as some other brands that also do good works in the world. I have a friend who loves it though, so I'll probably be ordering it again. :-)

I was hoping that the melting problem I'd read in other reviews was fixed; it has not been fixed! It arrived completely melted! I love this brand of chocolate; after watching "Rotten" I will only buy this chocolate. However, please ship your chocolate chilled somehow. It is quite expensive and I am upset that the chocolate that I bought for a birthday party is now just lumps. I recieved this in the same box as non food items. Clearly it may not be as heat resistant as some chocolate is; please ship from Africa in cold containers and then continue to ship and store in cold containers. Until they fix the shipping problem I recommend sticking to the random bars that you can find at health food stores amd the grocery store.

Good tasting chocolate. Was just recently made aware of the problem with chocolate so I am being a lot pickier about the chocolate I buy.

I love that this company makes sure that child labor is not used to pick the cocoa beans for chocolate. They have wonderful goals. I chose dark chocolate because it is good for you unlike milk chocolate. However, their dark chocolates have a bitter taste. I won't buy these again.
