J&D's Bacon Salt, Original, 2 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I used to find this product in the grocery stores but I am happy to now order it online. It is great on popcorn, mashed potatoes, salad or wherever you think bacon belongs. It doesn't have that fake bacon flavor either. Definitely a favorite in my house!!

This is like a favorite type of spice in my kitchen…haven’t tried in cookies but I might. Love on poached eggs on toast!

Bacon Salt is amazing. It can be put a whole bunch of different foods. It can go on meat, potatoes, veggies and much more. One of my favorite things to put it on is scrambled eggs. I highly recommend it.

IT TASTE REALLY GOOD ON CHICKEN! MAKES IT TASTE SMOKED. NOW IM GOING TO ORDER THE HICKORY FLAVORED BACON SALT. IM A HOG FOR BACON!! :)

I really wanted to like this product. I wish I had read more reviews. Mine, like apparently others, arrived with all lids very loose and salt all over the inside of the bag. 2 bottles' safety seals were stuck inside the lid. One seal was half off. Since this is a food item there is NO way I will try it! Buyer beware!!

I originally bought one bottle of the Bacon Salt as a Christmas present for my husband. We decided to put it on Kraft Macaroni and Cheese as a taste test.One bite and we knew we had to buy more. One bottle was not going to be sufficient.This stuff is good on pretty much anything, though so far, the macaroni and cheese is the best flavor combination. I can also confirm that it is excellent on baked potatoes, pizza and veggie burgers.It gets bonus points from me because I'm sensitive to greasy foods, so I don't get to eat a lot of real bacon. The only disappointing part is that our local grocery store doesn't carry it -- they only sell Baconnaise (which I've yet to try). Thankfully, Amazon's great deals save the day!

I grew up in Illinois with Southern parents. My mother was a southern cook with little or no knowlege of spices. Our food was plain but very tastey. the flavors my mother used was all natural seasoning, salt, pepper, onions, garlic, dill and the ever present bacon fat that was our favorite. Today, the fat has been removed from our diets as we all try to be healthy. When I discovered J&D bacon seasoning I was absolutely esstatic!!!!Now I can prepare some of our favorite comfort foods and they are fat free!!Some I simply add J&D to the Olive oil or Canola oil I'm using and the taste is B-A-C-O-N!!!!!Beans and cornbread seasoned with J&D is a favorite at my church!!
