GretschG6296 Round Neck Resonator Flat Top Case, Black

I purchased this for my honeydipper resonator but my guitar is too thick to fit in the case. if I try and close the lid it extremely bulges out the top of the case putting pressure on the bridge. Hopefully i can return this and buy 1 that fits.

Pricey but nice. Canadian made. Internal dimensions of the G6296 case are: Total Length = 41"; Body Length = 19 1/2"; Upper Bout Width = 10 3/4"; Lower Bout Width = 14 1/4"; Depth = 4 1/4" (including depression for cone guard and saddle cover). Perfect fit for my Gretsch G9240 Alligator Roundneck (12 frets to the body) Resonator.

Fits like a glove on the Gretsch resonators. A well built case and I dig the purple lining.

Nice case, though too pricey for the mid level quality. I wanted a case I would have high confidence would fit my Gretsch Alligator G9241 resonator guitar. Fits like a glove as it should. Would have given it 5 stars if it was $99.

I read other reviews saying that the case isn't worth the price, and I agree. I bought it anyway to ensure my Gretsch resonator guitar would fit, and it does very nicely. However, the quality of the case is at best fair. It isn't that sturdy considering the price. Also, on the side of the case there is a place where the black covering at the seam doesn't meet. This left the light brown case material showing. It looks terrible. Seams should be overlapped, not just butted together. I recently purchased the guitar and case and I was disappointed with both. I doubt I will ever purchase another Gretsch product.

Nice case and well made. My new Gretsch honey dipper fits like glove. It is a little pricy compared to other cases. Thats why I gave it four stars.

I agree with most of the previous comments- it's a good fit for my Gretsch boxcar resonater but very overpriced
