Nice compact unit

Variable speed range is a disappointment. It is a good machine overall.

Seemed to be well made but after running only 10 minutes the motor housing was so hot I literally couldn’t hold my hand on it for more than 2 seconds, seriously. This could be “normal” for this tool but I doubt it. Tried to contact Grizzly support by phone and e-mailbut no response so back it goes. I probably just got a lemon, it happens, but when you’re unable to get anybody from customer support from the manufacturer, we’ll, nomore Grizzly products for me.Follow up: Still can’t get a hold of Grizzly support. Could be a nice unit but if there is no support, it’s probably a bad deal.Another Follow up: Its been a week, absolutely no email, text, phone call or anyone on the other end. I will never purchase another Grizzly product. Not because they’re all bad just because they don’t appear to care about supporting theircustomers or their products.

the drive wheel that came with the unit was very wobbly so I had Grizzly send out another which they did and the customer service was good and they were easy to communicate with and sent out a new replacement wheel quickly. But the second wheel was even worse. Regretfully the plastic wheels do not come casted true or they warp during their manufacture process, or they bore the arbor hold slightly off each time. Either way they should mill the wheels so that they know for sure they are true. Charge just a bit more if you must to provide a good product.
