It’s a good toy for several weeks maybe
This was a good purchase for my cat lol! My one year old was not interested in it. The string unraveled pretty quickly within a use. My cat loves chasing after it if I pull it along so I guess at least someone enjoys it. I’ve had this for a while now once in a blue moon she will use this but honestly the cord is not long enough for her height my toddler is on the tall side. Other than the chord being poor quality the paint chipped within the one use it got that’s way before my cat took notice by the way. To me this is a four star since it’s cute. Had it had a tiny bit more length and quality to the string. And the paint not chipping within 5 minutes of use I would have given it 5 stars

Great toy for a toddler
We bought this toy for our son on his 1st birthday. Ever since then, it's been one of his favorite toys. No it doesn't beat out his train sets, but we are surprised even after 1.5 years, he's still pull it at least a few times a week. Even more surprising is the durability of the toy. He's 2.5 years old now, and he doesn't just walk, but he runs with it. The toy does get banged up from hitting the door frames, etc. But it's held up really well given the way he plays with it. Yes, some paints come off of it but you can't expect the paints to stay on when the toy bangs against door frame at running speed! I also like how balanced it is. My son can pull it around and make turns; the toy would flip around and turn side ways, but more often than not, it would land back on its 'feet'. It was well designed. I also like the motion it'd simulate the hopping, which helps my son relate to how the real frog moves when I watch the nature show with him.All in all, durable, somewhat educational, and very fun toy!

Adorable pull toy!
In our efforts to get more wood toys and less plastic (especially the creativity-lacking animated stuff!), we have bought a couple of these wooden pull toys. Our girls really like this frog. It is adorable, well-made and has the cutest "hopping" motion when pulled. I also like that it is a tad larger than the other pull toy we have (Plan Toys Alligator), which to me seems too small. The one "con" (only for the kids!) is that this one does not make noise. Though this is certainly more desirable for parents, we did learn that if you give them two pull toys and one "clacks" while the other is silent, they will fight over the "clacking" toy every time. Otherwise, this is a perfect pull toy!

How many miles?
This toy was one we bought for our daughter when she first started walking. It quickly became her absolute favorite toy. It went with us on vacation. It went outside, and came inside. It even ended up in some professional photos we had done a few months later!During the summer, the frog made it's way into our little wading pool and, unfortunately, ended up being in there for quite some time. But, believe it or not, he's still in great shape, though the string is more the draw at this point (like to play with the kittens with it). This toy is certainly worthwhile, and a lot of fun to watch as little ones continually look behind them to make sure Mr. Frog is still following. He's well-made, and holds up to little ones quite well. Certainly a top toy in our house!

Looks cute, not too sturdy.
This product is just as cute as can be.Our 16mos old took to it immediately afterbeing shown how to pull with the cord. The frog has a nice 'wobble' when it moves-simulating an up-and-down motion of a hoppingfrog moving. It's amusing. This toy is made of wood. The wood is not asturdy grade; nor of heavy components. Theedges mar easily as it is cut at 90 degrees andnot bevelled. e.g. The little one pullsthe frog into a dining room chair leg.My biggest dissappointment is with the paint. The green color is just the perfect hue! Itis the durability which I found to be lacking.Perhaps I had the wrong expectation that this toywas ok for outside play on the drivewayand sidewalks. Our little girl LOVES to walk outside. So, Daddyand daughter walk up and down the block, while 'walking' the frog. The blue on the flat of the wheels almost totallywore off after just two outings. Pitting is alsonoted now on the flat part of the wheels. (andwe live in a brand-new finished subdivision)Stability is another issue with this item. Itconstantly tips over and the rear legs need to be're-alligned.' (real simple- just pushing all the partsback toward the torso and aligning again.) Our littleone also has difficulty when the pull chord gets alltangled up with the front and rear wheels/legs.The front wheels are fixed in direction and the squareedging of the wheels make for great forward movement;however if your little one turns direction the wheelscatch and the frog tips over.Overall impression: very cute, makes darling grandparentphotos. Expect fast paint and body wear. Not a heavyquality wood toy. Great on wood floors, so-so on carpet.Don't pay >$12. 3.5*

The Greatest
I handed the wrapped package to my grandson (1) and he ripped it open. We broke it open from the packaging, which was not hard, and then gave it to him. He dashed across the floor with the frog right behind. Then his older brother (3) decided he would like it. So they yelled and screamed for possession of the toy. Finally, we promised the older boy that he could have one, too. Peace was restored in the house. The frog is really cute, almost indestructible, and just appropriate for the age group. Just plan on getting two of them if you have two toddler-age kids.

Baby likes it more than expected
Didn't expect my 14 month old to take to this toy so quickly, but as soon as it was unwraped on Christmas he started happily pulling it around the house. It's not something he will play with all DAY, but it is nice to have in the toy rotation, and he really does have fun and giggles a lot pulling this thing around behind him. The frog doesn't do much, but it is cute, seems to be well constructed, and the baby likes it, so it turned out to be a nice purchase. Not sure if it's the BEST pull toy out there, but for a young toddler a pull toy is clearly a universal hit and this is not a bad option.

lovely toy worth the buy.
I love it, its made from strong wood, its relatively heavy for a baby toy. But you child will love it it has many movable parts like the legs, arms, eyes and mouth which can be pulled and tugged but they are held by a stretchy skin so completely safe. Only issue is £30 is alot for a small toy.

Great quality frog!
You know where you are with Melissa & Doug. Their toys are well crafted, good quality and robust. This charming little frog is a favourite pull along pal for our little girl. It's fun face & bright colour make it really appealing andbthe chord is a good length; long enough for her to pull it along, but not too long to get tangled up in.

Happy looking wooden toy
A sturdy wooden traditional type toy. It seems to be well made, being assembled from machined wood components. Will it last? It should do but only time will tell.
