Auto shut off feature works outstandingly well!
Very much like that the 1.8 liter capacity is just the perfect size for filling the so-called thermos or insulated vacuum bottles (if you prefer).Still need to be careful when handling hot water, but this water kettle is so much cooler to the touch with scalding risk significantly reduced. Our water hardness in winter increases slightly, sometimes leaving a light superficial rust deposit such as the 1' x 1' one found on the pouring spout, easily scrubbed away with a Scotch Brite scrubbing pad, also found on any stainless steel surface seasonally (summertime, too). Auto shut off works like a champ. Like to pour boiling water into kitchen sinks in winter to sanitize and heat pipes as an aid to help keep pipes from freezing in case power happens to go out. Works great! Do so once an hour or so if bitterly cold. Also boil one kettle full of water, pour into good sized pot, put on lid with no vent hole or aluminum foil if necessary, put in unheated oven and close oven door. Provides very nice radiant heat for several hours, again if bitterly cold, reduces heater usage. Make sure pan lid or foil is sealed as tightly as possible or there will be condensation. Many folks using heat tape for freeze up protection in our area had frozen and burst pipes when the power went out during a sudden windy bitterly cold ice storm, but we did not have any issues like that, resulting in significant savings and convenience. If the boiled water is used right away which normally we do, there is no metallic flavor, so far.

Can't See How Full
Just got this kettle to replace a burned out one. They seems to last about 3 years. It's good but 2 problems. There's no way to see from the outside how full it is, you have to open the lid and look inside. When I opened the lid I got a few drops of hot water on my hand so be careful. The lid only opens to about 45 degrees so peeking inside to see how full it is means tilting it. It may make cleaning a bit harder too.I'll probably keep it but look for a better one in 3 years.

Best Bang for Your Buck
So it took me a few days to research kettles as I am a coffee and tea lover but I also use the kettle to heat water for cleaning around the house. It seemed that getting a fancy $100+ kettle was a bit of overkill as well as out of my price range. My cheap plastic kettle also just didn't cut it anymore. So enter Habor and man does this kettle deliver. Everything inside is stainless steel and freakishly good at keeping in the heat. I boiled water early this morning and at 3:30 PM I can say that this kettle still kept the water warm. I actually have to make sure not to have the water boil or risk burning my coffee or green tea. It did take me a minute to get use to it because I want to press down on the lid button to open it but I actually have to press up on it while pressing down to turn it on. So far so good in making me happy. I also had a sinking feeling that I've seen this brand before but couldn't put my finger on it until I realized that I have owned one of their thermometers for years. If that is any indication on their quality than I will be a fan for years to come.

Fast boil! Good, simple, satisfying design.
One of those objects that are simply a joy to use.I love this kettle. It’s fast, and sturdy. It feels good in my hands, has that kind of texture I enjoy touching. It has a satisfying clunk when you close the lid, making a satisfying noise too. It’s sturdy, has no unnecessary windows that often leak on other kettles. It looks great too.An example of good, simple, satisfying design. Buy it!

Excellent Kettle, great customer service
UPDATE:I reported a safety risk with the previous design (see my earlier comment below) and I was contacted by the seller who offered me apologies and a replacement kettle. I'm happy to report that I received it in just a few days. The new design has fixed the safety issue, so I'm changing my review to 5 stars. It's a nice kettle overall. Looks good, boils fast, easy to clean, everything I'd want.Old Review: "Looks good, heats fast, good construction - BUT a major flaw is that steam escapes from the joint between lid and handle. This will burn your thumb if you hold it in the natural position with thumb on top when pouring. We had to put a piece of red tape near there to warn against it. I can't recommend this kettle due to the risk of burns."

Nice looking product, great customer service
Updated:The seller has incredibly good customer service. I immediately received a new kettle, no questions asked. The new unit works perfectly so far with no issues. Thanks!————-Love the design and ergonomics if the kettle, but it didn’t last very long Before getting a bit whacky. Currently makes a loud popping noise every couple of seconds when water is put to boil. This started after only about 2 months of usage. Still works, but that sound is jarring and makes me feel like it’s going to explode at some point.

Nice-looking Electric Kettle
This is a perfect electric kettle for a family or couple. I think I’d buy it even if it was just me.It looks nice (I got the black one) and it heats very quickly. It has the standard boil-dry protection and auto shutoff. Short cord, which I prefer. Definitely would buy again and recommend.

Great industrial design, but fails at it's primary directive
Bought this because it got pretty good reviews, but I also really liked how it physically looked/would look in our kitchen (which is all black and white). Upon receiving it, I was bummed out because about 1/2 the time you press the button to open the lid, it doesn't work. Once I filled it up and popped it on the heater, I was shocked to see that it just....stayed on. We use a lot of hot water in the morning (oatmeal, french press, and tea), so we filled it to a reasonable level, and it boiled so aggressively and for so long, boiling water was literally spitting out of the spout! I was ready to return it based on just that, but then when I poured water from it, water would pour from the spout, but ALSO a bit of water would pour from the seal between the lid and the body of the kettle, as though the lid wasn't on tight enough?? All in all, very disappointed and am sending it back. It gets 2 stars for the physical design, but loses three for not actually doing the one thing it needs to do properly.
