Nature's Way Maca Root Capsules, Traditional Libido Support*, 100 ct

I've been taking this daily along with Kelp and Selenium. My problem is my thyroid. Sometimes I get bursts of energy where I feel fantastic, I am full of energy, and I love everything. Most of the time, however, no amount of sleep can help, I have to push myself to be happy, and all I want to do is eat. I swear even looking at food makes me gain weight during this time. After about a month I noticed I was able to get out of bed without feeling that horrible fatigue in my bones. I even felt a little bit brighter. The last time I felt this way was when I was living in France. On that thought, I decided to change my diet to mostly organic and whole foods. The food I had while living in Europe wasn't loaded with the GMOs or pesticides that ours is. I spent the next month in what felt like detox, getting some strange sickness almost every couple of days. Still, every day I had a bit more energy. It's been three months now. I wake up early without any trouble. I do not need caffeine throughout the day. I am even falling asleep faster and enjoying deeper sleep! My mood has been exceedingly vibrant, my skin is clearer, and I've steadily been losing weight. I do believe my hormones were to blame. With the three additional supplements and diet change, I feel better than I have in years. I also love the smell.

I bought Nature’s Way Maca Root to help with weight gain, and it honestly worked. I take 3 a day and it really boosts my appetite. I’m now eating 3 full meals and snacking in between, which I couldn’t do before. I’ve always struggled with gaining weight, but this is the only thing that’s made a real difference. No side effects at all. Also, my periods have been a lot better lately — less pain, more manageable. Not sure if it’s from the Maca or the raspberry leaf tea I’ve been drinking, but either way, I’ll keep using both. Already buying 2 more bottles!

I have to say this is a good option for libido

I am used to paying significantly more for powdered maca root, which I take to regulate my sex hormones, but I must say, I had no problems with this product at all. I think it's a good quick price, but the powder in the capsules are also darker than I'm used to Maca Root being. I might order again, but I'll probably get the powdered form if I can. ======= To be quite honest, the first time I heard of macs, I was kicking it on a hair forum (LHCF) with a group of women who wanted to "get bigger butts." Maca was mentioned as a means of getting a bigger butt by regulating sex hormones. As I curiously read on, I noticed women talk about it being a product in many "get a sexier body supplements," like Dime Curves (expensive as hell!)... I had a large bootylicious behind already so I didn't need maca for that, but I was curious in seeing if it would make my already high libido go through the roof, and whether it would really regulate my period and give me bust enhancement. The first bottle I took, I immediately got a lighter, cramp-free period and within 3 months I went from 38C to 38D. In 7 or 8 months I was a 38 DD. My hips, thighs and booty stayed the same and my PMS - what was left of it (I pretty much am only a PMS monster on birth control pills! *shiver* yuck) - was severely diminished. AS for the sex drive? Well... vroom vroom. ;)

I read an article someone posted on the Pinterest app that this product can help you balance your hormones, help clear up your skin, help with infertility, stamina, etc... I've been having adult acne problems for the last two years and have tried just about EVERYTHING! So I gave this a shot after researching it and reading reviews on it - good and bad. Initially, this product did not seem to help my acne. It almost seemed to bring out more blackheads than ever! But I decided - like all vitamins - you may have to take it for a while before you start seeing results. After two months of taking these in addition to continuously using my current face wash (day and night), spot treatment and fade cream (for dark spots/scars left from old bumps), I am starting to have clearer skin! My skin is starting to even out, my breakouts are 1 pimple MAYBE every other week, and my blackheads are almost down to a minimum. I am so happy with some a cheap alternative to these expensive face washes and acne care kits out. I will definitely continue to use this product!

This herb is AMAZING. I suffer from irregular menstrual cycles and have since I was 12 years old. I suffered with endometriosis as a teen and I"ve tried almost every type of birth control to fix my issues. However, I can't take birth control because it makes me extremely ill, so that was a failure. So I began to look into herbs to fix this when I was in my early twenties. I came across vitex and tried it off and on throughout the years but always got frustrated because I'd have all these period symptoms with no actual period other than spotting constantly for two months. I'm almost 27 and having children is in the near future so I want my body to be normal! In Feburary of this year I learned about Maca Root and after extensive research, I gave it a try. I started taking it along with vitex Feburary 13th 2016 and my period came March 17th. IM SO EXCITED. My cramps were non exisitent which are usually out of control and sooooo painful. I'm giving all the credit to maca root and will continue to take it so I can straighten my crazy hormones out! I took this for about a month, but I have to stop taking the pill form because it makes me bloated and constipated. Other than the stomach problems my energy levels went up, which is a big plus because of my crazy schedule I need the boost. My sister is also taking this supplement and she really likes it and does not have the same problems as I am with the stomach. I have always been really sensitive to any types of medications and vitamins. I am going to get the powder form, I heard that it is easier to digest the downfall is that it can be more expensive than the pill. I have never had any problems with any Nature's Way supplements and it is one of my go to brands for natural supplements so I am pretty sure that any issues I had with my stomach is due to the form of maca root and not the brand.

We'll so far I have been taking this product 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill in the evening. I suffered from chronic fatigue and I must say that I have felt mor energetic in the past three days. I have been more focused thru out the day. Now I bought this product to help with my PMS and bloating as well as to obtain some increase in weight to my lower half. When I started I was about two weeks prior to my period and I have notice that my bloating has gone away, I have no cramps and my normal signes of depression have significantly decreased. I haven't gained any weight at this time but please be aware that I am a nurse and any expected weight gain could take up to 3-6 week to start to take effect. I will check back in in one mom to update you on my current status but so far so good.

It's a natural product good for women health

Use it after workouts and joggings. Total recovery adter using this product. Recommend this product to all people working out.

Totally ineffective and doesn't improve on physical well-being.

Maca Root is a fantastic herb for dealing with hormonal imbalances. I bought this for other hormonal symptoms and was mystified when suddenly my hot flashes cleared up. Eventually it occurred to me to check and yes, maca root helps with those too. :) The price is great and the product works well for me.
