Original Gourmet Lollipops, Original and Cream Swirl Medley, 60 Count, 1.1 Ounce

After reading recent reviews, I knew I was taking a chance I might get a lot of the same flavor, but that really wouldn't have bothered me. I was surprised to find such a wide variety:Banana Split - 3Blue Raspberry - 3Blueberries & Cream - 3Bubblegum - 3Candy Apple - 3Cherry Cheesecake - 3Cotton Candy - 3Green Apple - 3Hot Cinnamon - 3Orange Creamsicle - 3Orange Splash - 3Party Punch - 3Pina Colada - 3Pomegranate Raspberry - 3Strawberry Banana - 3Strawberry Shortcake - 3Sugar Cookie - 6Watermelon - 3Wild Cherry - 3Clearly the person putting these together made an effort to give a wide variety. I'm guessing they forgot they added 3 sugar cookie already and did it twice instead of adding another flavor. I got 60 total. Very satisfied with my purchase!EDIT 9/28/22: I was so happy with these I ordered another set a month later and while I got less variety, I got some new flavors instead (caramel apple, juicy grape, and pink lemonade). Even flavors like green apple, orange splash, wild cherry, and blue raspberry are extremely sweet. The only flavor I haven't liked out of all 22 I've received is hot cinnamon, because it really does taste like hot cinnamon!

I love these lollipops. A little smaller than a golf ball. Many flavors and I haven't found one that I don't like. They do last quite a while. I haven't timed them, but not sure about an hour - probably less. Same as those that I've found in stores which are much more expensive. I recommend buying these (although probably not great for your teeth).

Perhaps I didn't understand that there wasn't going to be an "assortment" of flavors. Like many of the previous complaints there were many bubble gum, cotton candy, and other less single flavors. You are better off going to the website and ordering the flavors that you like. Yes, the single fruit flavors are the best. They obviously pack this product with the less popular flavors.

Can verify that most of the bag was cotton candy and bubble gum. Disappointing especially when the provided photo shows pairs of flavors (is that deceptive marketing?). It's like an ice cream shop that only feeds you vanilla even if you ask for strawberry. These are legendary quality suckers and the company's advertising suggests pride in a solid product, so I'll give them another chance, but only one more.

So I decided why not, lets actually track the flavors and the quantity this time, something I normally wouldn't do. Before I got into all that, these are normally sized lollipops not small mini ones, the price value is not bad, and I think they all taste okay at worst. I liked the Pina Colada the most which surprised me and also became a slight ding....So about that count and variety...First I only got 59 in my bag, yes, being short one is not that upsetting but it is still one less than I paid for. So that alone is MAYBE enough to drop a star. There is a good flavor variety though. These are the flavors I got in no particular order:Banana SplitCaramel AppleStrawberry BananaWatermelonBubblegumCotton CandyBlue RaspberryOrange CreamsicleWild CherryPina ColadaGreat variety, if we were totally balanced (and I got 60) you would hope you get 6 of each flavor. That absolutely did not happen. I received 3 or less of each of the Caramel Apple, Watermelon, and Pina Colada flavors. This would still be okay if the rest were balanced.... but they were not. Of every remaining flavor I got either 5 or 6 of each... except for Cotton Candy.I don't dislike Cotton Candy I am honestly okay with it. But when 17 of your 59 pops are a single flavor that is going to be a disappointment, and you better REALLY like that one flavor. Yes, almost 30% of my bag was Cotton Candy. So for me this is a barely hanging in there 4 stars, more like a 3.5, but if you do not like the Cotton Candy flavor this is a 3 or lower and I would not recommend buying this bag.If you love Cotton Candy though and don't like the three barely there flavors this is more like a high 4 or maybe even a 5 star.

I know, they may not the best for your diet, but Hey, they are tasty.

To start: I've ordered these lollipops more than a dozen times over the past few years (both I and my family love them), and I am still impressed with their high quality.But recently there has been a significant drop in the actual variety included in this "variety" pack. The website description of having "three (3) of every single original and cream swirl lollipop that we produce" is at this point completely incorrect. Once upon a time this was true, but now be prepared for approximately 50% (or more) of the "variety" pack to be just 3 or so flavors (in the case of my most recent purchase: 34 of the 60 lollipops were either bubble gum, cotton candy, or caramel apple).Original Gourmet: please update your product description on the website to actually match the item so people don't order it only to be disappointed. Or even better: make lollipops great again by actually packing the variety pack you advertise.Still giving it 2 stars since the quality of the lollipops themselves is great.
