Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival

This book was recommended by my pastor. I highly recommend it especially if your looking for a revival of your faith. This book will take you on a personal journey. I love the setup of this work book it has everything from personal stories, tons of scripture, self examination and so much more. You can do the book alone or with a group. If your looking for something that will make you dig deep and pull you out of your comfort zone THIS book is for you!

The book I ordered was used and supposed to be in good condition. It had a decent sized rip through the front cover and there were some notes written on a few pages. I would say it was more “fair condition.” I love books by Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth so I am sure I will enjoy it despite being a little disappointed about the condition.

I did this study with 15 other woman. It changed our life….it’s incredible. Very convicting, and life changing. You will not be disappointed. I wish I could give Nancy a big huge for being obedient to our Lord.

When I asked friends online if they wanted to study this with me, the response was immediately "yes." So I worked through the lessons as an independent study first and found them truly inspirational for a revival. Each daily lesson took me about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Some lessons I'd spend more time journaling and reflecting. Key themes include: revival, humility, honesty, repentance, grace, holiness, obedience, clear conscience, forgiveness and sexual purity. The book is a great resource for re-creating spiritual disciplines and habits. "How to Have a Holy Hour" is a practical suggestion for focused prayer with 5 minute intervals. Easy to understand and apply!There are numerous resources for a church study, online study or a independent study using this revival workbook. I'm excited for anyone who gets a copy like I did and works through the applications.

Anything from Life Action Ministries is quality and helps you take huge steps with your walk with Christ. Seeking Him is no exception. This is a wonderful book. It will push you hard and will truly bring closer to God. I cannot recommend it enough. A great resource to go with this is the four message sermon series called "Freed" which can be found on the Life Action Ministries app.

I love Nancy DeMoss - I've done several of her studies, and I get so much out of them each time. This is a perfect study to really seek out areas in your life that might need examining so you can have the most open relationship with God as you can. It's been just what I needed for 2022.

I ab-so-lute-ly love this study guide. I am currently using it for a Bible study I’m participating in and it is such a breath of fresh air. The reading is not only relatable but it is broken down in sections so that your focus for a week is on one subject. If you want to revive your relationship with God, and do it by yourself or with a group. Then I highly recommend this workbook.

This is a very down-to-earth study with relevant and challenging questions and suggestions for action.Although designed in daily 'portions', I found that I needed to stay in some sections for a longer time to really put things into action. Highly recommended if you want to change your life.
